That would be one for Cassie to answer but I don't think so. Adam uses falsetto VERY sparingly with the exception of maybe Loaded Smile which I believe he described as being in his falsetto. Not positive about that though. I think a lot of times it is really hard to tell because his falsetto is not as weak sounding as most guy's. I agree with you both. No falsetto in BTIKM. MAAAAAAAABE, just remotely, "deep down I KNOW" when he does that little pop flip on the word, it might just be falsetto. Of course, it is too low for what we think of falsetto, but, then, range is an arbitrary concept for Adam. Adam has talked about using head voice and using falsetto, but I always got the impression he was using the terms that his listener would understand, not what was technically most accurate. I can't think of any examples of Adam singing for any amount of time in falsetto. Those light, high notes are all head voice. Those powerful high notes are a combination of head and chest. But, you are correct that most people call any high, light notes sung by a guy as falsetto. Used to bug me with Randy, too. Thanks to both of you for your answers. I feel like I can trust my ears again.  |

Thanks, me too! I used the trick to make it bigger. The pic is square, so no prob with the dimensions. And obviously it works on gifs, not just jpg. Please tell me who to credit.  O.M.G. 4MS, YOU'RE KILLIN' ME!  Until right now, I have never even considered the possibility that "licking the screen" was anything other than an enthusiastic exaggeration. Figurative language. Now I can LITERALLY see someone doing this--one of you, of course, not ~moi. ;D |

I know it is just a silly radio station poll, but it still makes me happy to see that Adam made it to the final two! Without any new music and very few appearances this past year. He has a narrow lead in the final voting, and I cast a couple for him just because. |
