Thanks, guys!  Just so you know, we've been doing some maintenance in Sauli Central in order to keep the posts in some sort of order. We created new threads for this year's translations, and all the threads are now marked with the year (except the update info and comment threads) so it should be easy to find what you are looking for. The first two official blogs of this year are both in the 2011 and 2012 blog threads since the new thread wasn't created at the time they were posted, so don't be confused. The new ones will be posted in the 2012 thread. If you have any comments or suggestions about this, please let zinnia and me know! |

Awwww.... thank you so much miachihu and zinnia for all you do at Sauli Central and for us Rakastan you ladies ;D I adore the fact that the universe was aligning the stars so as to arrange that these two beautiful men met. It makes me ~believe again   Let me add my appreciation to Mia and Zinnia for all the hard work you do for us in translating Sauli's blogs and videos! If you don't know, I am a certified, professional interpreter for sign language and English. I also teach the skill at a local college. I KNOW absolutely how challenging such work can be. Especially to get the subtle bits of personality to translate, as it is obvious you girls have. My back translation of BTIKM a few pages ago demonstrates how difficult it is to convey the correct meaning when one translates. And I even gave the guy the benefit of the doubt and tried to make his signs come out with correct English grammar, even when he had totally screwed up the ASL grammar in his interpretation. So BRAVA! girls, and a big THANK YOU for all you do. |
