Anybody else having trouble logging in here. On Chrome I'm getting a DNs resolution error 1001. It mentioned a problem with Cloudflare network. I had to switch to Firefox to post. It may be a problem on my end IDK.

First, many thanks for Brian May for telling his COVID story. He has millions of fans who will listen to him and heed his advice. So glad he was fully vaxed and is now recovering.
Adam did look great on Lorraine!
And, I've had a taste of trifle once or twice. But I've never had Latke (sp.?) Gotta try them sometime!

My grandmother in Germany used to make up potato pancakes all the time. We'd eat them covered in applesauce.

It may be a problem on my end IDK. I haven't had any issue. I did get a notice about 3? days ago when I first tried to open my bookmark. But the second time I tried it it was fine. I don't remember what the message was though.

I have had both and they are both great but very very different. My Mom is British so Trifle common....sponge cake layered with custard and jam and fruit ... sherry soaked in the cake sometimes...whipped creme in or on top....it is delicious.
My ex was/is Ukranian so had their version of potato pancakes that is very similar to Latkes, I think. Very good also...Can someone give a good description of Latkes so I can tell if they are close to what my H used to call something like Batsia { } eta...wiki tells me that it is called Derune [don't know where i got the other name] and actually is likely the origin of latkes..hmmmm....loved them with sour creme and even butter....

Somehow I've managed to get this far in life without eating a potato pancake of any sort. Strange but true. I'm up for it, though.
Love Adam's little Elvis thingie. LOL
