Isn't Forbes the one to take seriously. I sure hope this is accurate,no body deserves this more than Adam.I hope he makes millions and millions. Yes, and that one will be out in May. They always rank the Top 10 Idols. I don't know how reliable this is. Here are A couple of other singers. Bruno has been A writer/producer on several hits. This seems really low. None of the others I looked up had A write up. Bruno Mars Net Worth How much does Bruno Mars make? Bruno Mars Net Worth $2 Million USD Jason Derulo Net Worth $3.5 Million USD Adele Net Worth How much does Adele make? Adele Net Worth $6 Million USD Kesha Net Worth $8.5 Million USD Justin Bieber Net Worth $65.5 Million USD Lady Gaga Net Worth $110 Million USD

Exactly !! :( RCA will need to do a lot of promo to get his second album out and get the first single accepted by radio. Otherwise Adam is fucked !!!!!!!!!!!! smokey, sweetie, you typed that with your tongue firmly in your cheek, right? Sarcasm, right? I know that in the pop music industry an artist is only as good as his latest album, and sophomore albums frequently get slammed. I see Adam as so much more than a pop artist. If his second album is not well received, he may struggle to be considered a pop super star. But, he can reinvent himself, or, rather, show a different side, and make it on Broadway for his singing, not his celebrity. He can probably make it as an actor in films or on TV, he would make a great talk show host or commentator, he might be a good promoter or producer, and, according to Angelina Kalahari, he could blow it up as an opera singer. BB is gonna be fine.

IMO RCA will do whatever they have to, to get Adam on radio. if radio is still skeered, hell there are a lot of other options,Like touring,Adam already has a world wide audience. There is also TV ,YouTube,Pandora.. The worst that can happen is he'll be a raving success in Australia, New Zealand, Canada,Finland,Hungary, Russia& a great deal of Europe. Adam was always being groomed to be an International star My feeling is that Adam will work his backside off until he gets the success he wants. To add to this, I think radio is going to become irrelevant in the very near future.

So, I would take these estimates with a grain of salt. Bruno was a featured artist on some big hits -- that is not a high income deal for an unknown singer which he was at the time. His single and album were released in the back half of 2010 -- so he should make more in 2011.

Most of you know I don't do angst, or play in the deep end very often, so this could be a surprising question coming from me. What is the usual success rate for a sophomore album? In general, not just for AI alum. I keep reading that #2 is critical, and it makes me just a "teensy" bit nervous for GNAFL. Although I would prefer a multi-platinum hit, I would like to see it be at least as successful as FYE. :-/ Most artists don't 'hit big' until second, third, even fourth albums. As far as Idol, Kelly is THE ONLY Idol thus far to have a sophomore album sell more than her debut. Except that with the state of the record industry and all the music that gets stolen these, days, the criteria for success of a 2nd album has changed. And for Idols, it is a whole different ball game. If I'm not mistaken, most 2nd albums would be considered a success if they can sell 75% of what the first one did. The figure may even be lower. However, I think Adam is in a unique situation. I honestly think his first album "broke ground" for him among the public and radio stations. I truly feel that album #2 and the first single, will be more quickly accepted by radio. I think album #2 will do better than #1. It will go platinum in less than a year. Yup, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! OK, off to donate in honor of DHunken
