Freddie is still deeply imbedded in the hearts of Brian and Roger (and John Deacon). That bond never goes away. They spent years together as Queen. Nothing can change that enormous impact on their lives. Adam has given that band a new life that was unexpected and fulfilling for everyone involved. Hope there are some fruitful years left for all of them together.
I assume Adam will be "running the Canyon" today in sunny CA. It's in the single digits here in Chicago!

Don’t know why but a memory of a young man who was crazy about Adam has been driving me nuts today. He was at almost every concert I went to. Although we always said hello and I knew his name, I can’t think of it now for the life of me. And I’d really love to know if he is still such a great fan - or if he has moved on. He was Scandinavian and spoke good English and his name sounded very English. Any ideas? bamafan - you’ll know, my fount of all knowledge. He’s dead centre of this video at exactly 1.00… |

SophieB, I think that may be the one I've been trying to remember also. I've been thinking of the fan that gave Adam a Swedish? flag...there's a post, I think from Adam, where he has it over his shoulders and looks coyly up at the camera. I keep thinking the fan's name was Alex or something? I remember that they were one of the fans that would spend the night in front of a venue so that they could get to the front.
I have no idea why I've been thinking of this person though. Weird.
