Yes, recant is not the right word. But it seems she only understands the impact of what she tweets after she gets the replies, and then she's busy doing "damage control". And her "teasing" isn't pleasant to me. I don't know, Adam's teasing is always pleasant. Hers seems childish somehow. Not that it matters, JMO. JMO but I think she is very aware of what she tweets and how it is worded (nothing is accidental, and follow up tweets are just to tweak the interpretation of the rumor or keep it going) and is purposefully stirring the pot, inviting speculation and fan excitement. Whether one finds that kind of hinting more akin to teasing, i.e. whether it is fun or annoying to you seems to me basically a matter of personal preference. Exactly. It's definitely an MO of hers and – like all the teasing tweets that we received from the UK people who heard the music – there is a method to their madness. They always say just enough to generate interest, but not enough that they spill any real secrets. And yes, everyone's taste level is different. Some people on Twitter were getting very frustrated with the teasing tweets. I will take them over dead silence any day. They're like pieces of a puzzle. As long as we get them in dribs and drabs, we can try to figure what's up, but when we get nothing but ignored and silence, that's what I can't take. ETA: Shoshanna has handled Britney for at least a couple of years (certainly this last era and I'm almost positive the one before), she KNOWS from invested, vocal fans and fan excitement. She also handles Shakira, who has some pretty dedicated fans too, I think. She is very adept at keeping interest up for her clients using both fan- and media-generated interest. Hmm, just checked, Britney has 12,191,040 followers. Now that's a fan base that is going to be vocal when they want answers to stuff. |

She seems very smart to me...she was helping to keep us excited long before we had new music. I agree w/your assessment. I'm really liking Shoshanna. Me too. I love her sharing with us her enthusiasm for Adam and his music. 8-) |

Bamafan and I were both wearing a shirt with Adam's eyeball on it at the Memphis concert '09. When we finally met in Jul '10 and discussed the Memphis concert, we had both thought all that time that the article was talking about "me". Now we have no idea which one of us it was, although I'm SURE it was ME.   No, No, No, needacoke, my bff....I'm SURE it was ME!!!! You were down on the front row with your one eye on your back....I was in the lobby for a long time with my HUGE one eye on the front...and the writer said "when I walked in"....it must have been ME! (Just let me have my fantasy, it's only fair since you scored that unbelievable after party!) |

She was, but it isn't the first time (although I don't remember the details) that she tweeted something, and then had to recant. It seems like she doesn't think ahead about the consequences, you know? I think it's great she has been random tweeting....she has in the past sometimes fallen prey to the few obnoxious fans and then engages with them. It's so interesting that so many cannot just ignore the rude tweets! The man has 1.3 M followers and they react like they are getting attacked. By 25 fans....lol So far so good this time tho !! |
