Apparently, Kelly was much heavier before she was ever on Idol and she lost weight in preparation for being on the show. Adam was heavier as a teen, but lost weight in his twenties. Neither of them are naturally thin. But they both look great. I like Kelly. And or course, I adore Adam. I predict that he will be vigilant about his fitness in the future. It's just the healthy thing to do. By QAL time, he'll be in perfect shape. Getting there already. He makes me swoon no matter what. I don't think Kelly was heavy before Idol. She started to gain weight after her career took off and even more after she had children. At one point she was very heavy. Then she lost it after her kids were a bit older. But then regained some of it (not all) back pretty fast. They did show lots of before and after photos of Kelly. Thankfully Adam does not need to be included in everyone's drama so I was happy he was not mentioned this time, lol. |

This weight issue is off the rails a bit. I was 105=110 as an athlete (swimming) in college. Three kids later I was at 125. Then came menopause and associated weight gain, unless, perchance you have the luxury of a personal trainer and dietician for us over age 65.
Obviously Adam put on some weight. I'm sure he's working to get in shape for touring with Queen. He won't look as thin as 10 years ago, but he will be in shape to perform and support his voice.

Things are looking up!! "Starstruck" appears to be well received and awesome that it was trending in the UK!! I also loved all the twitter love that Adam got.
I only watched the opening of the show and I am really happy. Adam looked and sounded like the superstar that he deserves to be. I too am relieved that he was looking so good, in fact for me today the sexy rockstar came back!! In the meantime, it seems like he has been shaping up since Vegas and the KC show.
