See if this makes you all feel better. For WWFM the first 3 weeks of sales totalled 31,000. If BTIKM sold 39,000 it's first week (yes, I believe the leak from Rene), it was already past 3 weeks of sales of WWFM! AMAZING for a song that has not even been performed yet!! WWFM is almost 2X Platinum and its first week of sales was 11,000! It's radio play that drives sales of Pop songs and the same thing will happen with BTIKM. Don't worry! Be happy! No worry from me... I LOVE the beat on WWFM, but I love the beat on BTIKM more. Think this song more radio friendly than WWFM and so I believe BTIKM will do much better than WWFM. |

Umm  well I've been drinking green smoothies for over a month now and it can be very yummy (mine are 60% fruit / 40% leafy greens) and it has totally done away with my sugar and caffeine cravings which is a small miracle!  - Do you make them yourself? What do you put in them? I just don't know what to say about this stuff. I'm a huge fan of Jamba Juice & I know it can give you tons of energy & it even TASTES good. But this crap that Adam & Sauli drink sounds like some evil concoction brewed up by the Wicked Witch of the West Coast. Bleh! :  Lol ;D Yes I make them myself. I put 60% fruit and 40% leafy greens in them with some water depending on how much liquid is in the fruit and greens. If you're interested in more info, PM me and I'll pass along some links for you to check out. Sauli's drink didn't sound so tasty to me either and had too many ingredients.. sometimes simpler is tastier. |

FFS, YOU GUYS HAVE TO STOP!!! I AM LAUGHING SO HARD RIGHT NOW!! AND Ginger--your rant--I'm sorry, it made me laugh too, because even though I ~feel you, I just hate radio so much tbh, that between Moser's adolescent love/hate thing and Juniemoon's sobering info (that says--to me-- payola is still alive and well, just prettied up a little) I can't do anything BUT laugh! Even WITH no promo, it's never a slow day with you nutcases--and I say that with absolute LOVE and LAUGHTER!  ETA: To mimic Adam, I AM GRATEFUL, I AM GLOWING, 'CAUSE I'M CHORTLING! ;D I DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' CLEANSE--JUST ATOP! Pretty much, this. I'm feeling you, Ginger!! It IS bewildering. And hey, if they're doing a "social media experiment," FINE. But, could you let us in on it instead of expecting us to be the dancing bears without letting us hear the tune? I mean, today with all this Claude rally/shout-out confusion, I thought, "Man, I miss Ed." :-/ Even though I never went to AO, his posts got passed around enough that we had SOMEONE – SOMEONE who could answer our issues of confusion. He might have been a pain and less than tactful at times, but I usually felt he was straight and gave answers about what they wanted/needed/expected from us. We're flying blind here and trying to keep enthusiasm alive, but when we feel like we're doing all the heavy lifting with NO whisperings of any promo appearances, it's like ... what's going on??? With WWFM, Adam was never off TV. He was on the Early Show, Ellen, Conan, Leno and Letterman in November/December – right when and after WWFM was released. If they need us to hit the shit out of radio and make requests, fine, but are we going to then hear: You're spamming!! A LITTLE insight would go miles. And I would be ridiculously happy if there was an Ed still around to give us some clue about what was in the works. Even if it was a patronizing, "Tut-tut, it's all coming together very soon. Now go on yer merry way and request yer brains out – but don't piss anyone off ..." In other news, I'm kind of craving green slop right now ... Heavy lifting???come on I love pushing Adam to the top..I think we know what to do and do it very well. Weren't we just tapping our fingers and tapping our feet waiting to do something.. well the time is now.. so let's go Adamtopia man those phones,but only 1 call a day to our local stations.See we know what to do. We're primed & At least we're no longer bored . As far as Ed ,It's always great when we miss somebody after they are gone. Ed drove most of us crazy and a lot of his clues ,etc. we're pretty worthless. We've got this ! |
