thanks jablea for the suggestion. for years i wanted to live in boise or somewhere in idaho. we had some remarkable family travel memories made in idaho. love the place from the little i know. i also think i am bummed today to know i live in a country where obviously enough people think rick santorum should be the leader of this nation, a man who thinks Adam Lambert is a deviant, amongst other horrible things. I've been there-- but the race ain't over yet! This country has had some pretty depressing times and civil rights hasn't come without bumps, but I must believe that this is just a small period of time in the grander scheme of things. The big picture will be a prettier one than we are seeing now with some of the idiots out there today. With every push forward comes a push backward from the other side. It takes some longer than others to see thru the hateful illusion they've been fed over and over. And fear (and ignorance) fuels it. Concentrate on the progress and the big picture and remember, love conquers all...eventually. I hope so -- |
