And the price on Ticketmaster has gone up today to $1099 for a front row seat in Orlando! Glad I got mine in Wed when the ticket 3 seats from these was only $245 plus fees. How is that kind of price gouging not criminal??Likely standard practice to adjust prices for acts, not just Adam, when the demand is there. When I wanted to attend the QAL show, Adam was performing on The Kennedy Center honors in DC. Before he came on, I was at the computer trying to nail down good tickets before his performance. I succeeded and just as I expected, the prices went up like crazy after he performed. But I'm sure Adam nor QAL were sitting there saying up the prices after he performs guys, lol.

To be honest, I‘ve only ever seen something like that in the US. Over here the prices for Tickets are fixed. They don’t change. Yes, QAL offers some Platinum Tickets as well, but they don’t change as crazy as that. They just went down a tiny bit, when the date of the show approached and they weren’t sold.

I did not get Platinum tickets for QAL but I had good seats. When the prices jumped the next day, some terrible seats were being sold for what I paid for mine. And what I paid for my seats were not cheap but those tickets went up several hundred. Can't imagine how the Platinum prices changed as I was not looking for those. HA.

No wonder that you guys often end up with several tickets and sometimes loose money on that. Unbelievable.

I am not sure but I remember reading years ago they were trying to find a way to get the money for the artists instead of the scalpers getting all the money. But I don't think it worked out as the scalpers are still in business. I wonder if someone else remembers that as I don't care enough to look it up, lol.

Before Covid they started here to declare all tickets that were bought via the second market invalid. It had been a big problem fo the Ed Sheeran concert in the Olympic Stadium here in Berlin, because despite warnings many fans turned up with invalid tickets and were refused entrance. Don’t ask me, how exactly they had known, which tickets were bought from illegal sources / second market. But they did. These fans had to buy another official ticket. Yes, they had to pay twice! Or go home. Result: None of them will buy a ticket from an unofficial source again. Another way to stop scalpers is that the tickets get personalized. They don’t do that often, because it’s a lot of effort. But in these cases, they print the name of the buyer on the ticket(s). Without this person (or their credit card), you won’t be allowed entrance. Currently one of my tickets IS personalized. But the reason here is Covid.

Off topic ….Anyone have any clue what company Ray (Leila’s husband ) is CEO of? Google says Axonics Inc. I don’t know that. But he seems to be a very accomplished and successful business man. Let’s say, if Adam has problems with his money, he can turn to his mom and her husband for advice.

Wow… he is a VERY, VERY accomplished business man with a long career, and on many boards. I see what you mean… net worth around 44 million and makes over 6 million per year as CEO. You are right…he could probably give Adam money advice if asked. Lol! Guess …Adam no longer needs to help out his mom. He helped her with a condo before he ever bought a home for himself. I guess the Axonics company could afford to have Adam perform. I wondered if Adam was doing it as a favour …haha…but now I assume …more mutually beneficial!
