I think with this Elton John Party, it has been a while since Adam was at an event with lots of other celebrities for Oscar or Grammy related celebrations in the US. I believe the other time he was at the Elton John Oscar party was when he was sitting with Katy Perry. He looked so gorgeous and sexy and a lot of people wanted to take pictures with him. And the pictures were stunning. Then there was the Clive Davis Grammy party and he sang a tribute for David Bowie. Again he was so handsome and classy. The Vanity Fair party after the Oscars when BR won, he looked fantastic. Natural beauty with only a little eye makeup. Attention grabbing and gorgeous looks but nothing OTT. He normally looks great at the big celebrity events. The purple suit was very nice tho. Those other pictures for that photo shoot are stunning. Something really nice to look at, lol.I gotcha. Given the choice, I'll take Adam in a classic black tux any old time. Black tuxes are almost always flattering to any man regardless of his physique. I loved Adam's looks in those other events that you mentioned. Showed off his hair and eyes so well. But I think he likes to stand apart, too. The purple suit was a fun look, but I liked it more in the later photos when it was unbuttoned and more casual. Runway was a bit rigid. Those photos of him with Oliver are very sweet. |

On 26 December I wrote that I wondered if it meant that Adam had covid when he tweeted mysteriously ‘covid is the queen of cancel culture’.
(After all these years I can’t quote myself here!)
He’d just got home from London where he was out and about a lot and where just about everyone it seemed, had the virus.
Don’t suppose we’ll ever know exactly when but….
edit: haven’t actually listened to the interview. Don’t know when it was done.

He’d just got home from London where he was out and about a lot and where just about everyone it seemed, had the virus. Don’t suppose we’ll ever know exactly when but…. edit: haven’t actually listened to the interview. Don’t know when it was done. I was trying to remember that quote about Covid. Thank you for that! I wondered at the time if he’d gotten it. That was right when omicron was really spreading. |

When I said I thought the pictures for the photoshoot were stunning and something nice to look at, imo, I was talking about the pictures from the merchedes.amg magazine and interview. They were really good pictures to go with a good interview. Didn't care for any photos from Elton's last event but I liked the fit of the purple suit on him. Also glad Adam was okay after Covid. |

My guess is that Adam had covid right before he appeared on the Kelly Clarkson Show for his "Man With the Bag" duet. Everyone was complaining about how much weight he had gained...which was probably due to the medications he was taking. (Steroids can cause this.)
Another reason I wish people would refrain from the "fat shaming" comments directed at Adam. We don't always know the real story.

Another reason I wish people would refrain from the "fat shaming" comments directed at Adam. We don't always know the real story. But we don't know that was when he had Covid as he didn't say other than last year. But the Kelly Clarkson Show was filmed earlier than when the show aired. And Adam himself commented on his weight gain but never said it was related to medication. And when he was on the beach in Mexico and the paps and fans went crazy, he was carrying a lot of extra weight then too but it was unlikely he had been sick then. But we have seen him perform since that time and he sounds fine. Fingers crossed that is the case. |

In his case it is critical the lung capacity wasn’t impacted, I suppose we’ll see once the QAL shows start, as nothing is as much a test as that. I’m sure Adam knows what the status is in this regard and I hope it is truly OKay. I am thankful we didn’t know when it was happening. |

Adam has been singing off and on since he had covid, although we don't know exactly when he had it. Since he's now made it public, he might tell us when he had it. His voice is sounding good to me.

Adam has been singing off and on since he had covid, although we don't know exactly when he had it. Since he's now made it public, he might tell us when he had it. His voice is sounding good to me. I get what you are saying about the suit. But I think it would have looked great with different shoes. They seemed out of place with the suit. The heels he wore on Strictly a bit ago were great. They were high but did not take away from the look. I have always hated those clunky Gaga like shoes on anyone, even Gaga. HA |
