A comment I found interesting from Adam on Starstruck was after the Freddie performance when he said that We are the Champions was deceptively difficult. To me Adam struggled with that song for several years before getting in comfortable so I was glad to see he recognized it's difficulty a bit too.

I'm still amazed with people like Christine Mackenzie (above) who have just discovered Adam after all these years. I love their awestruck reactions to his voice and personality and quality as a human being. Glad we have one more Glambert in the fold.

Adam's superpower (beside singing, of course) is to make people fall for him over TV. Some people are nice but don't come across as nice. That's why I think it's important for him to have as much TV exposure as possible, which will make as many people as possible fall in love with him. The more they do, the more they'll check out his music. |

At 57 years old, Lenny shows that you can still be a sexy rock star at any age if you want. He looked great on the Red Carpet and even better when he presented and performed. And it was more than the boots that looked good, lol. I remember when he and Adam met years ago and took a picture together. Two sexy rock stars together was almost too much but it made me happy. HA.
Billie had 7 nominations, LNX 5, and Bieber 8 and they came away with no wins. HER had 8 noms and won one last night. Beyonce (not nominated this time) has 28 Grammy wins and 80 nominations. Why do they need to give the same few artists so many nominations and wins? So much talent is overlooked. And if you are not on a major label, your chances of being recognized are very slim.
I was glad to see Olivia Rodrigo get a few wins. It is nice to see someone at only 18 or 19 have a hit song and win awards singing a nice ballad. I know some claim ballads do not become hits. So they were happy Adam did not release any when he was on a major and had a better chance of success. He does emotional and can sing better than most and it would have been nice to give something different a try. He wrote and recorded many really good ones that were never released as singles. And emotional and heartfelt songs become hits often, if you have a major label to push and get you massive radio play and on many huge streaming playlists. In any event, it seems the young people are interested in something other than just rap and dance songs.
Was thrilled to see The Brothers Osborne win a country Grammy. When the younger brother of the two came out as gay, he thought his country career would be over. But it wasn't. They are still nominated and sometimes win at country award shows. He did not change. He still looks and acts the same as he always did before they knew about his sexuality and the country world did not explode. And the Grammy win was something special.
