Even though we were expecting something it's super cool to see Adam in that line up of luminaries. QAL know how to put on a show will surely be special. Interesting choice to close the show... Maybe the Queen particularly loves Diana Ross 🙄Yep. Sounds like she has some kind of relationship with the Queen. Line-up revealed for Queen's Jubilee concertDiana Ross, Queen and Adam Lambert, Duran Duran and Sir Rod Stewart will perform at a star-studded concert to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Ross's performance at the event will kick off a series of live UK gigs, including a slot at the Glastonbury Festival on 26 June. In a statement, the singer said: "I have had the honour of meeting The Queen many times throughout my life, including when I was with my family. www.msn.com/en-xl/news/other/line-up-revealed-for-queens-jubilee-concert/ar-AAXqzH6?ocid=uxbndlbing

I just came home, opened my email and discovered a Ticketmaster email telling me my Rod Stewart tickets for the June concert in Vancouver have been rescheduled to August. I requested I refund because I will be travelling in the summer, and was like "Oh no, I hope he is not sick!" Then I opened this thread, and the picture cleared...

Hoping that this event is of such moment that it will be covered on some tv channels internationally. BBCAmerica is a cable channel.

Pretty excited once again, for QAL TO OPEN a prestigious event…viewed by many! (Oscars and Jubilee)
I am so hopeful the explanation of the opening might be a mini compilation of a few Queen songs. Most likely including God Save The Queen being one, which means new words for Adam to learn. Those are the kind of moments when I get realllllly nervous for him. Hahaha

My hubby and I were treated to box seats twice to see Rod in concert. I was not a real fan, but certainly enjoyed his music. He put on a great show both times. I must say though, the second time was years later, and there was quite a change in his energy and voice. He still had good leg power though…the soccer ball kick into the audience seemed strong both times. LOL! After listening to the video in the thread, the change in his voice is very noticeable. I am sure I will be dead and buried by the time Adam is his age. Hahaha However, as an avid fan of Adam I am sure I would still be heading to his concerts and revelling in the nostalgia of whatever he was singing, in whatever “voice”. 😍

QAL and the Queen, live (I hope) on the BBC for my birthday. Nice! Going to have a special ice cream cake this year. I wonder what the Queen's favorite ice cream is...I'll share
