The funny thing is the blurb about Kris turned out to be all about Adam pretty much. :D I remember when Idol ended and Kris won, his fans insisted that Adam take a back seat to Kris and not get any press or opportunities unless Kris got them too or first. I don't think that all worked out so well. From that first Idol tour, the wind direction was pretty obvious. Yeah, Kris's section was pretty much all about Adam. Gotta say I like Kris. He's a class act. He says he's an Adam fan and I believe him. And his career is doing just fine. And his current pic is not that much different from his Idol-era pic, but it's still a bit different. |

Most of these articles just point out that many of the contestants and most of the winners did not become stars like Kelly, Carrie, Adam, Jhud, Daughtry, etc. And that is what Idol always claim to be looking for and the press follows the lead. I don't think most are trying to be mean (or care who likes Adam) they are not going to pretend some winner's careers are more successful than they are. There are some winners who faded and hardly anyone notices. But it becomes more glaring when a runner-up or lower placer like, Adam, Daughtry, Kat and Jhud are in the mix with bigger careers. Then it becomes how did they lose? I did like that they called Adam the most successful male from Idol. Yay. |

Another BEST EVAH show! spectacular! Even just thru mixlr. Was it extra great, Nica? Couldn’t listen to the stream but my son and friends are there and I so want him to be as impressed as poss. Had more young family there on Tuesday and they absolutely raved. Best thing they’d ever seen etc…and I believed them, of course. Simply because I know it’s the best thing they’ve ever seen.  And Nica….thank you for posting the audio of Adam’s cracking voice from the 15th. Listened to an interview with Roger Taylor this week where they were saying how much audiences loved the things that didn’t go quite right and I confess I loved this - and the funny, confident way he handled it. He was so adorable…. |
