Was it extra great, Nica? Couldn’t listen to the stream but my son and friends are there and I so want him to be as impressed as poss. Had more young family there on Tuesday and they absolutely raved. Best thing they’d ever seen etc…and I believed them, of course. Simply because I know it’s the best thing they’ve ever seen.  And Nica….thank you for posting the audio of Adam’s cracking voice from the 15th. Listened to an interview with Roger Taylor this week where they were saying how much audiences loved the things that didn’t go quite right and I confess I loved this - and the funny, confident way he handled it. He was so adorable…. So…imo it was glorious. TSMGO was back, all the super riffs were there, except the ending of WATC. The “dialog” wailing with Dr Bri was exquisite, audience interaction was amazing, all vocals were super excellent, ringing and resonant… im sure your family LOVED it! and ya, the imperfections are interesting and the way Adam handles them is such a joy to see: last time we had two: the tech malfunction with his ear set (after kQ ) and the voice crack after the TYMD, with laughing and trying again. That was seriously adorable. But tonight everything was just perfect to my ears. Only, did Dr Bri forget to introduce Adam, or did I miss it? - anyone. Hi!! I don’t think Adam was back on the stage when Brian did his usual intros so he introduced Adam on the B stage when he came out to sing CLTCL ❤️ |
