nightowl . So glad you had a wonderful evening - in spite of a tricky start. When I saw a pic of the arena before the show, I thought it was strange to see floor seats in Europe. i’m sorry you were unlucky with people behind but glad you didn’t let them spoil it for you.

Queen rock Sunday at the Lanxess Arena
 Cologne | At the beginning of June, they played at the big party for Queen Elizabeth II for the 70th anniversary of the throne in front of Buckingham Palace. On Sunday (8 pm) the rock legends of Queen will perform in the Lanxess Arena. It is the band's only concert in North Rhine-Westphalia. The "Rhapsody" tour was supposed to start in 2020, but was postponed twice due to the corona pandemic. Now the majestic rockers are finally coming to Cologne. QUEEN HAD TO POSTPONE "RHAPSODY" TOUR "We were very sad about the postponement of our European tour, but in the anomalous state of our world, the cancellation could not surprise our fans. The incredible euphoria of our six-week stadium tour in South Korea, Japan, New Zealand and Australia before Corona with up to 60,000 visitors now seems almost like an unreal, distant dream. The good news, however, is that we have a plan B," Brian May said on the band's homepage. "Now we are looking forward to the concerts in Europe." Queen perform together with Adam Lambert as lead singer. 29 songs are played, plus highlights memorable video recordings by Freddy Mercury, who died of AIDS far too early in 1991. A huge stage, visual effects, design and technology form the impressive setting for the Queen + Adam Lambert shows, which of course focus on the biggest hits.
