I loved Mr. Know It All but then I've been a fan of Kelly's since the beginning so I got the points of reference with the concept she went for. It's probably worth noting that Mr. Know It All has sold over a million copies, lame video and all so let's hope the same happens for Adam. I like Kelly too and I got the references, but I just didn't think the video rose to the level of the great pop videos nowadays (Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, etc). Also, while I like Mr Know It All and selling a million copies is definitely a success (and hey, I'll be happy with that for Adam!) I kinda hope that this era Adam will surpass this level and move into the pop superstardom, with 3-4 million sold per single. That's all I was sayin'.  Oh okay....not sure anyone should hope for or expect Kelly to put out videos like Lady Gaga and the like since she's never been that type of artist. I can't see Adam doing a Lady Gaga style video any time soon because he's trying to appeal to the largest audience possible and being a guy he can't get away with the same OTT antics as the ladies can. I think the FYE video might be as risque as we get for a while. jmo |
