Q3 - regarding the lawsuit, are you saying that Adam will have to PAY the BFM people? They'll still be allowed to sell the cd, right? But he's gonna have to PAY them on top of that? The filing confirms that a settlement is in the works and nothing more. We also know from the original claim that there was some agreement made in June or July 2009 that delayed the release. My hope/guess/bet is that BFM will not be sold but to make that happen it will cost Adam something -- which may be money or not depending on what the deal is. If Adam settles and has to pay money, most likely it will be to either significantly delay the release OR to never release these recordings. I really hope he just buys the masters -- and he can afford it because the presale indicates that they are not worth that much money. ETA: The CP claim was never about Adam being in the wrong, it is about the commercial ownership of recording masters, compositions and usage rights. This stuffs happens all the time. late, but how does that work if BFM has already been available for sale and units are on the shelf in stores? Also the Parasite Sessions are a separate kettle of fish right? and have to be dealt with separately?
