www.newsday.com/entertainment/music/hot-song-adam-lambert-s-new-single-1.3433569Hot song: Adam Lambert's new single Published: January 6, 2012 2:43 PM By GLENN GAMBOA glenn.gamboa@newsday.com Is Adam Lambert trying to send out secret messages through his singles? His new single, "Better Than I Know Myself" (19/RCA), sounds like a Celine Dion ballad filtered through Ryan Tedder and Bruno Mars. In other words, it doesn't sound like Lambert, but perhaps what record company moguls would like him to sound like. Hopefully Lambert gets to shake off the blandness on the rest of the forthcoming "Trespassing" album. doesn't sound like Adam Lambert? Bland? Think Glenn Gamboa needs one of those healthy green drinks that help with mental clarity..j/s

I will open up (with help of few beers...) how I found Adam: I read finnish tabloids net pages time to time (read, every day). I noticed this georgious couple I can't decide who I liked more... I have listened Adams AI performancies from YT and noticed he has voice over All I know! I love Queen and Freddie Mercury and Adam Lambert as lead vocals in EMA for Queen! I was blown away... I just love people being bravely who they are - doing the thing they are best of! And being one of the glamberts supporting Adam is the thing I want to be part of. Long live Adam! Long live the glamberts! Let's make the world the better place to live happyly ever after <3 Well said.

Did we see this here already? Friday, January 6th, 2012 Adam Lambert And Sauli Koskinen Are This Week’s Hotness! When we put Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka up against Adam Lambert and Sauli Koskinen for our first ever couples’ Hotness poll on Wednesday, we had a pretty good guess who would win. But we didn’t really expect such a dramatic landslide. Sorry, NPH and DB, you and your twins are adorbs, but clearly Glambert rules the Internet. We received a whopping 30,095 votes for this one, and Adam and Sauli took more than 78 percent of those. We had votes coming in from 89 different countries, with the majority obviously from the U.S. and Sauli’s native Finland.Speaking of overseas travels, ... Thanks stardust. I love that Avi. It reminds of Adam's eyes how they seem to just penetrate your soul.
Butterfly, sorry I guess that I have listened to so many audio and watched so many video interviews of Adam that I just hear his voice in my head. He is so warm and friendly. He is always so polite and eloquent when he speaks. I could listen to him talk as well as listen to his amazing voice. Does that make any sense?

... but clearly Glambert rules the Internet.
Now, if they could all just remember that ...
LOL, reminds me of a tweet I saw around the summer of 2009. A fan said her mom called her and said, "Honey, I saw a story about Adam on the Internet!"
Her response: "OMG!! What? Adam on the Internet??"
Still makes me giggle.

Oh okay....not sure anyone should hope for or expect Kelly to put out videos like Lady Gaga and the like since she's never been that type of artist. I can't see Adam doing a Lady Gaga style video any time soon because he's trying to appeal to the largest audience possible and being a guy he can't get away with the same OTT antics as the ladies can. I think the FYE video might be as risque as we get for a while. jmo I'm sorry, I should have been more clear - doing three things at the same time here. Of course I don't expect Adam to put out Gaga -type videos, in terms of how risque or left field they are. I was referring more to the quality of the video - and for me, a lot of that boils down to imagery, visuals, cinematography, etc. For instance, Beyonce has some pretty stunning videos that are not controversial in content, but are obviously of great quality (e.g. Countdown - the whole controversy of her ripping off this or that photographer notwithstanding Same with RiRi. Even Domino, the latest Ray Kay collection is a visually compelling video, albeit a little boring. IMO, Kelly's video did not have amazing visuals, or something really compelling about it. But that's just my opinion, of course. Then, I was very excited about the Stronger video, and I thought the concept for it was GREAT, but then the execution missed the mark kind of, for me, again. Dunno what the deal is, maybe I'm just not liking Kelly's image this era. I get the feel it's almost like more of a HotAC image than a pop image, even the clothes she's wearing, more lady-like, etc - don't get me wrong, that's great for her, I'm just not... inspired. LOL. I'm rambling. I'm off now. ETA: Oh, how could have I forgotten Katy Perry's videos? Again, another example of some amazing videos, and not risque or controversial some of them (e.g. TOTGA, Firework, etc) Thanks lifesaver I totally get what you're saying now.... thanks for clarifying :D Yes, Kelly've videos are much more "grown up" than her previous videos which is more HOT AC than Pop but Kelly IMO is more of a HOT AC artist at this point in her career having been in the business for 10 years now. She might be a little "long in the tooth" to compete with the pop divas of today LOL... I'm in 100% agreement with you on wanting highly stylized videos from Adam and I think we can count on that. Adam doesn't strike me as going cheap since videos are one of his favorite parts (unlike Kelly who seems to do them more out of function than desire). Adam loves playing dress up (kelly hates it) so I can see multiple video styles over the next era. This is gonna be fun!
