This is my inaugural post. I feel like I'm walking into a room filled with old friends who don't know me! I have lurked for a long time and want to thank you all for providing a compelling distraction for me during this past year which was the hardest year of my life! Onward and upward from here! Thank you all for your intelligence, your perspective and your consistent respectfulness. You are an island of civility in the sometimes mean-spirited online world. I first noticed Adam on his season of AI and my interest has steadily grown. He is my inspiration for so much in my life from taking fashion risks to focusing on living in the present to a heightened awareness of the importance of gay rights.
I spent half of my life in New Orleans (born, raised, educated) and the other half in Miami (work, children, NOW!)
I attended GNT concerts in New Orleans, Miami and Nashville and Jingle Ball Ft. Lauderdale.
I love the international nature of this community. So fascinating and enriching!!!!!!
Thanks for showing an interest. (I knew you would. Ya'll are awesome!) Now carry-on!

This is one of the best parts in the Adam fandom. Worldwide connection. :D Agreed! It's often easy to forget that we are all from different spots on the globe when we have so much in common. And it's a great place to learn about our differences too! Who would have ever imagined that one beautiful, gorgeous, sexy, gentle hunk of man with as much inner beauty as outer beauty would have brought so many people from so many countries together. Just goes to show you what love and acceptance can do in a mighty way. |
