This pic is taken after the Zodiac Show than included Crawl Through Fire. I am surprised how many people we can recognize from that picture now. IKR? It's amazing that many of his friends are getting somewhere and I feel happy for them. This was an awesome bunch of talented people.  |

Is this recent? When Ashley Gomila tweeted about Sauli the other day, it occurred to me that maybe she was doing his make-up and Sauli was putting a portfolio togteher. I think he has the right, edgy look for modeling. Not runway because he is too short, but for print ads, IMO HOT!! ITA mys*&@^#r!! And about being too short I don't know, Kate Moss? I would see Sauli even in runway. But I think you're right he doesn't fit the standards. I don't think it's recent though, because of how his hair look. Sauli would not easily be able to be a runway model --- the standards are very stringent. For Male fashion and editorial work, models usually have to be at least 5'11. There are very few male models under 5'8 and they get limited work. Picture a runway show with a line of 6' models then someone who was 5'7" (Sauli's height I believe). It would just look all wrong -- and most designers design for men 5"10" to 6'2", who are quite thin max around 170 lbs. There is so much competition that designers do not need to compromise and select models for their clothes, not the reverse. I used to do a lot of fashion catalogs and ads, and I can't see that being a good direction for Sauli. ETA: I edited this post to make it make sense. |
