I had BTIKM streaming on my computer (from bed) at 4:30am today. My grandddaughter is leaving to go back to college and they were getting ready. Her boyfriend and her best friend stayed at the house last night, BF because she is going back, too, boy friend because he has been enlisted to help with the move since he doesn’t go back to his school for another week. ANYWAY, the bf wandered back to my room when she heard the music and stayed to listen to whole song again. “OMG, who is that. I love that song!” That, of course, brought an eye roll from the boyfriend because he’s familiar with my obsession.
“Adam Lambert? Really, Adam Lambert? I never heard that before. Let me hear the lyrics again.”
Of course I did, but at the same time had her go on the desktop right next to me to google the lyrics. She’s in love!!!!

They must have gotten a late start because of director Ray Kay's travel delays, but I am also guessing this video will look nothing like Jessie J's, which only shows background and outfit changes... I'm in the "Can't Wait!" camp, too! With Adam's perfectionist tendencies, I'm not surprised that it took so long. Yes, I'm also surprised it only took 20 hours. Now I wonder how quickly they will get the final out. My bet is that RCA will push to have it out in late January to support the Pop Ad Date (1/30/12). Here is the past history for Adam music videos: FYE shot on Nov 15, 2009 premiered the video on AdamOfficial.com on November 24, 2009 – 9 days (also Ray Kay but Adam had limited creative control.) WWFM shot on Dec 22, 2009 premiered on the morning January 15, 2010 on VH1 – 24 days. (Adam had creative control.) IIHY shot on May 10-11, 2011 premiered on Friday, June 14 on VH1 – 34 days. (Adam had creative control.) So, if it is like FYE (also Ray Kay) it will be done before 1/30/12. If it is more like WWFM and IIHY -- let's say 30 days -- it will be done in early February -- close to the impact date but after it. We'll see. Any bets? ETA: A two-day shoot on sets not location indicate a bigger budget than Adam had in the past.  |

Also, so excited for Adam that he gets to make music videos. It is the perfect place for everything he loves to come together, the music, the singing, the dancing, the acting, the visuals, the storytelling, the fashion, the drama and the spotlight. It must be very creatively satisfying for him! I wish he could make MVs for every song!

Sounds like the music video was done on a proper set and not in a hotel or the woods. Adam said He worked with a acting coach for the WWFM music video. Considering how dramatic the song BTIKM is I wonder what theme Adam's come up with for the music video. I love the idea of Adam being all dramatic and moody like the WWFM video. I hope the video draws in the teen market with Adam being all cute, and dramatic. Also interesting regarding our speculations about timing, this guy seems to think that his day is only half way through. Another 16 hours doing something. Maybe EDITING!!! NOW!!! Sooner the better as far as I am concerned. Oh and I thing the wolf thing was only wild-ass speculation, for fun. Based on this guys tweets: Multiple sets, Adam performing (singing and acting?) ... sounds like a story. Nice. Well, we really don't even know for sure if the filming is completely finished. He could just have wrapped for the day and be getting ready to move to the next set. Who knows? |

Yeah, so did I. Wasn't it supposed to be like a mini-concert, with more than one song...?  Yeah - there was a stage set up out back of the theater & he was gonna do acouple songs.  Wanted to bring this over from last night because Kimmel does a few small outdoor concerts. That's what Adam was scheduled for. I was expecting about 4 songs and I still have my ticket. It is a souvenir! I am hoping that when the album comes out, Kimmel will finally get him on. Rumor, last time, was that Kimmel ws pissed with the cancellation. |

I thought the cinematographer had another music video to film today--not Adam's and that was why he was switching sets. Nothing to do with Adam/editing. I do not think we can infer multiple sets based on cinematographer 's tweet. But I'm excited, too, as I think Ray Kay gets Adam. |
