The fact that Nessun Dorma was spontaneous makes it even cooler, IMO. Gives it that risky feel, a throw-caution-to-the wind sort of thing. Nobody will EVER EVER forget that performance. And if it's the one and only time he does, that makes it even more special. I went looking for that first Facebook recording that including Nessun Norma in the middle...about 8 minutes or so, but I couldn't find it. I mention it because you can clearly see Adam go to Brian somewhere in the previous song and indicate he wants to make some sort of change that was previously discussed as you see Brian nod....then minutes later, we hear this marvellous gift. The other comment is to note that part of the reason Adam's voice is so particularly rich these days is not just age/experience, but that weight there has been so much consternation about. The extra pounds add a depth and richness to the sound...many of the best opera singers are heavy...male and female. Not all of course, but many...and arguable the better. Just musing..... Oh and I want to credit m45maia for commenting on that on yesterday's thread, giving me 'confidence' to say this also...Hey..where is the blue couch to hid behind...this is all I could find, lol.

I’ll be the happiest person alive if Adam moves to the opera world, voice and weight included. He can be the new Pavarotti in every sense. …or he can start writing music that actually requires his full vocal abilities, that would be nice too…

I know we are not to discuss the weight, lol. But I believe Adam could belt that stunning rendition with or without it. But it was a glorious performance and a treat nonetheless. I just like to hear him sing and show the talent what sets him apart from most others and pop singers. Would love to see him write/co-write and perform some original rock tunes in the future (it doesn't need to be overly hard either).
