Afternoon everyone! Just wanted to share a story that happened to me yesterday afternoon. I was in a pool supply company (one of the largest in the US from what I understand) and music was playing when I walked in. Of course I recognized WWFM immediately. Anyway, I asked the sales girl what radio station she was listening to and she said it was a CD, not a station. I asked her if it was her personal CD (b/c if it was I was going to ask her if she had heard BTIKM) and she said "no; it was distributed to all the stores from our corporate office." I almost died!! I heard about 4 more songs while I was in there from other artists; didn't recognize any of them and Adam's was by far the best one I heard. ;D So I guess someone in the corporate off is either an Adam fan, has really good taste in music or both!! Haha!! That's awesome, but most stores, restaurants, etc. have various sources for the "muzak," or music. When I worked in restaurants, we originally had something like a CD, but they were not like a commercial CD, they were much bigger and made only to be played as piped-in music for the restaurant. The songs were on a loop and you could set your watch by them as they repeated every few hours or so. Later, we converted to a satellite service, where you pick a genre. The songs still repeated with the same frequency, I think. But for WWFM to be a part of commercial music packages, that's a good thing! I think stores, etc. are the place many people who do not listen to radio on a regular basis get introduced to new music and they don't even realize it because it's in the background. I have heard WWFM on the store music in Rue 21 (outlet), Claires and Hot Topic. The first two in the last 4 months. I also heard IIHY at an outlet clothing store, but can't remember which one. It would have been teen centered. Q3, How much does Adam/His label make off these deals? Do you think we will see GNL or any pieces of it on a US music station? Will this depend on the success of trespassing? |

ITA, with mys*&@^#r. That's not a scale. It's the checkout. The credit card scanner is in front of Adam and maybe Sauli just noticed the photographer and was kind of looking up at Adam like, "We've just been spotted."
It would also make sense that the paps weren't wandering through the store, but either shooting through the front glass. The store can't do anything if they're outside, but they can kick them out if they're stalking customers.

Some basic vocabulary we really need to get straight before the insanity begins. I am glad to see this gets re-posted, skylar, it's so cute. The only one I can add is, K: Melvin. Is M the Sonic Hedgehog style? C could be the railroad tracks style. E looks a little like Smurf, and K I think of as Lothario/Don Juan ooo thanks for ideas Cassie! I thought of K as the Little Cockatoo Pirate Doo. We'll collect labels and vote  |

The Q102 pole has been steady all day even gone down a bit for Adam. Don't think we're gonna win this one. Second is good though, we know second place and he did beat out some really good ones! |

Those photos at the grocery store are so cute -- such couple photos. I think Adam looks like he is about 1/2 awake, too (which would make sense). BTW, the lettuce they have is living butter lettuce and I have some in my fridge at the moment--they have good taste! That stuff is great (it's grown hydroponically and is still alive when you buy it so it doesn't go bad very fast and tastes really fresh). No, I'd say it is definitely spinach. You can see the indivudal, separated leaves. The living lettuce package is square and much smaller, with visible roots. |

OK. So the timing is a little off. The insanity has obviously already begun. No competing with shopping and shoot photos! But, everyone is welcome to help fill in the blanks! In fact please do help! Any of the labels can be changed. I just threw what I could remember in there. And there are many more hairdoos I'm sure. Feel free to share and I'll add : ) Just got my new bamboo Mac drawing software. So using this to practice. I know, I know my rendering of Adam's nuanced face and expressions is masterful. baby cockatoo pirate doo? Do you take drawing requests? I want a drawing of needacoke standing belt high to Adam. Oh my. Holding a camera, I assume........   |
