So, the MV has Adam in his own clothes. The set looks like his digs. The song echos his recent "scandal" perfectly. Anyone else half expecting there to be, not only a cute little Finn, but a Don't Tell Mama scene as well? Just kidding, but it does all fit into his "opening up" theme.
I am totally loving the au natural Adam! How can he look even hotter when not even trying? And see how he is always smiling, even when another GD pap invades his space yet again. I almost fear that the time will come when this all starts getting old to him and we can read it on his face. I want him to be a worldwide superstar, yet I love how he can go to the supermarket and jog down the street with relative freedom. Hope that never changes for him.
So, glad Angelina is going to do a program on the EMA. I am still enraptured by this performance and it'll be nice to hear her put into words why it's so powerful.

Just got back here and we got a pic from the MV shoot!! Adam's wearing the Gareth Pugh jacket, Rick Owen boots, he has Hair, and the set looks like his living room!!!  Adam is definitely keeping it 'real'! So excited to see this video. And it sounds like he worked with some big name guys in the video industry! You know...Gareth Pugh and Rick Owens should use Adam for their celeb model since Adam endorses them so much! He gives them a lot of free publicity! 8-)js Gracefuladam you should be commended for all you do for a great organization. |

OMG!! Love that grocery-shopping pic!!!  My sister was over for a visit last night, and she brought up something kind of interesting… She likes Adam, but she’s a very casual/passive fan and relies on me to pass on all Adam info. Anyhow, when she was here yesterday she spent some time reading stuff on ATop, and was amazed at all the Sauli information, and the seemingly universal love, praise, and acceptance of Adam’s hot boyfriend. Anyhow, after she was done reading, she said, “You know, if Adam were straight, and Sauli was a “Sally” = a hot little blue-eyed blond-haired girl, the whole tone of ATop would be different… There would be snarkiness and a whole lot of jealousy and a whole lot of protectiveness towards Adam, as in, “Bitch, you better not hurt my guy, or I’ll hunt you down!” She said it would be just like the whole Justin Beiber/Selena Gomez situation where Selena was universally hated and even received threats from Beiber fans… And I was like--->   I dunno… Do you think that’s true? Would we be way more critical of a "Sally" and more protective about Adam? This has been my thought since the beginning. My sister said to me years ago when we were discussing a guy I was dating and how much she liked him, "If he was a girl, I'd probably be bitching about her all the time." The bottom line is probably that since he/she is not seen as "the competition" it is easier to accept the significant other. As for me, he says, slinking away, I am well aware that I am not Adam's type so it softens the blow of feeling rejected. Some days I have to use the "a long distance relationship is too difficult" line, but most days I'm fine.  )) And thank you in advance for not mentioning that Finland is further away than Georgia or Florida. Sort of sad/fascinating that we have the tendency to "eat our own", so to speak. In your case, lifeguard, your sister wouldn't be into a romantic competition mode, because she's... well, she's your sister. But I wonder why she felt she'd be bitching about your date if it had been a girl... is that when the protect-my-brother feelings kick in? There's kind of an automatic, subconscious "I don't trust her"? No woman is good enough for my brother? Kind of like moms being initially suspicious/critical of the girls their sons are dating? DON'T HURT HIM OR I'LL RIP YOU APART!!!! LOL |

So true and I've pondered why that is. Was it the Grammy nomination? Was it the success of the Glamnation Tour? Was it the fact he did not roll over after the AMA's but persevered and would not be denied???? I seriously wonder why the acceptance finally. Because I do feel an acceptance that was not there when he launched FYE. I guess I credit the fact he never, ever gave up. He rolled up his sleeves and worked his frikkin' butt off. Adam Fucking Lambert is my Idol forevermore. I honestly think the trigger for this was the EMA performance. I think there was a quantum shift after that. The voice became the topic of the conversation rather than the other stuff that always showed up before. You see and hear all over - the vocals, the vocals the vocals. Not so much the gay, the gay, the gay. AGREED! |

Sorta OT -- I'm sitting here scrolling and laughing and stroking the head of one of my dogs (that's just second nature to me). So, I stop for a second and look over at my dog and he's looking up at me so adoringly with his tail just wagging happily and I realize, he's probably doing an impression of me staring away at S&A pics.awwwww.....   |
