They cover when Adam does something spectacular in the US (Believe, Elvis, Oscars, Girl Crush, QAL tour were raved about) but don't seem to cover him much internationally. When GAGA hoped on stage with QAL (I believe in Australia) it was covered here. A few weeks ago Carrie Underwood was in the UK and she jumped on stage with Gun N Roses and it was covered here. Neither of those performances were anything outstanding, imo. Maybe Adam needs to jump on stage abroad with someone unexpected to be worthy, lol. Adele has acknowledged him so my bet if he did something at her invitation it would get covered here. HA. Adam showing up at an Adele concert would be amazing! Wish it would occur to her to do it. Talk about a performer who has found her niche! Antwerp looked and sounded great! We're into the countdown now. I'm sure they are more than ready for a rest. Of all the people I'd love to hear Adam sing with - Adele is not on the list. Her voice bugs me so much I can barely make it through one of her songs. Maybe Pink and Adam doing WWFM would be fun - not unexpected but certainly generate some press. For unexpected territory that would get US coverage - he could jump on stage with Garth Brooks. While not a vocal match they are both superb showmen.

Translated from Dutch Queen + Adam Lambert ★★★★★ once again confirmed in the Sportpaleis that they are the greatest rock 'n roll band of all time. @adamlambert @queenwillrock @sportpaleis Review Queen + Adam Lambert ★★★★★Queen + Adam Lambert confirmed in the Sportpaleis that it is the greatest rock 'n roll band of all time. At the stroke of eight o'clock, the fans started clapping the rhythm of We will rock you en masse. Only two hours later that song would also follow in the encores after an incomparable, wonderfully theatrical and bombastic concert in which the band really pulled out all the stops. A disco ball during Radio Ga Ga? Check. Let the audience pull out the smartphones en masse and sing along to Love of my life where we also see Freddie on the projection screens towards the end? Check. Fireworks spraying from the head of Brian May's guitar? Check. Fireworks on stage during A kind if magic? Check. Lasers during Who wants to live forever? Check. White confetti during closing we are the champions? Check. And a song like Fat bottomed girls in the setlist that at least one radicalized woke radio host of the most commercial radio station of the public broadcaster most likely no longer plays if he is consistent between what undemocratic cancel positions he now all ploughs on Twitter, although his employer nevertheless has as his core task 'The programs contribute to the further development of the identity and diversity of Flemish culture and of a democratic and tolerant society.' Check! A chic theatre. This is what the visuals on the LED screens looked like in the Sportpaleis. With 4 boxes on stage where some fans could take a seat. That theater collapsed during 'In the Lap of the Gods... Revisited' to resurrect at 'A Kind of Magic'. First in neon form, then in the original. Adam Lambert honored Freddie Mercury whom he named as irreplaceable and as a rock god. Meanwhile, Queen's fans have long embraced him. He sings magisterially and effortlessly hits his high notes and comes out wonderfully theatrical. For example, he cuts to replace the color of the theater to green to finally be satisfied with pink, he throws us a kushandje, he comes with thumb and forefinger to the edge of his top hat or we see him in glitter pants with a tailcoat above. Queen + Adam Lambert refer to the opera both visually and in terms of sound (including Bohemian Rhapsody). Brian May thanked the fans for the incredible reception but especially because it has been keeping the tickets all this time, even though the concert was postponed due to the corona crisis. The fact that the fans had been looking forward to this was evident in the public enthusiasm that had never been experienced before for us – and we have been playing for 14 years. It may well be that the madness these days takes place in Boom. But going over this madness (the audience reaction) before and during the concert of Queen + Adam Lambert in the Sportpaleis is just impossible. Wow! The audience sang along loudly every song, then it clapped its hands. It makes the whole best of/jukebox performance read as one highlight. If we still have to get our highlight out of it, then we choose I want it all, with its delicious acceleration on guitars and drums with May pulling to the B-stage and then letting the fans clap along towards the end. It was an overwhelming arrangement from a band that looked and sounded particularly sleek and modern. A band that also made the performances of all the other artists and bands who performed in Merksem this season – Queen + Adam Lambert signed for the last show in the Sportpaleis of the season – pale in comparison. Or how the expression 'the last ones are the best' turned out to be applicable again.
