I just watched the Riff/IWAL video, and I still don't understand the reasoning behind putting the two together. I find it such a weird combination that I usually don't bother watching this particular segment. In my brain, they just don't fit lol. Probably just my brain...but I find it very jarring. I see that and in that way, you are right. But...I find that they are two parts of the excellence of the band. 1st, the connection and technical ability that allows un-set ad-libbing riffing to lead into the quintessential exhibition of perfect synchronicity and planned, rehearsed, harmony. You need equal talents for each section and putting them back to back, to me, somehow enhances their expertise and talents ....they are the two signs and sides of the coin that is Queen and Adam Lambert! That, to me, is the marvel...

I also had problems getting into Ticketmaster. It said to "sit tight" for at least 10 minutes, and then the "Loading" took another 5 minutes or so. Then every seat I chose was already taken (sigh). No seats left in the center section, but got seats for all three concerts on the sides. Took what seemed like forever to process each order as other good seats disappeared. As usual, Ticketmaster is beyond frustrating!! I did finally get in and managed to get 1 front row center VIP Photo Op ticket for Friday night and less expensive side tickets for other 2 nights. One of the tickets said $175 when I clicked on it, but then was $200 + fees when I went to pay for it. Ticketmaster said it was "dynamic pricing".
I wonder if the Photo Op is virtual or in person?
Looking now, there are some center section tickets, but there are all expensive Platinum tickets that don't include the VIP Photo Op.
Says it perfectly!!!

The "riff and IWIA" sequence is one of my favorite parts of the show. Adam's riffs are beautiful unto themselves, and Brian's guitar response is so creative and haunting. The back and forth really shows off these two performers' immense skills. AND THEN, after just a moment's hesitation, they SLAM-BANG straight into I Want It All with such blunt force power. Gives me chills when I hear it.
