I just watched the Riff/IWAL video, and I still don't understand the reasoning behind putting the two together. I find it such a weird combination that I usually don't bother watching this particular segment. In my brain, they just don't fit lol. Probably just my brain...but I find it very jarring. I see that and in that way, you are right. But...I find that they are two parts of the excellence of the band. 1st, the connection and technical ability that allows un-set ad-libbing riffing to lead into the quintessential exhibition of perfect synchronicity and planned, rehearsed, harmony. You need equal talents for each section and putting them back to back, to me, somehow enhances their expertise and talents ....they are the two signs and sides of the coin that is Queen and Adam Lambert! That, to me, is the marvel... I've liked the riffing into iwia but i've never thought of it that way and it's beautiful! You've worded IT beautifully  |
