Since it's a slow day I found this Brian May video and he mentions it was a thrill working with Adam at the EMA's. Thanks, adamrocks! I hadn't seen that one either. Love the mint chip idea and Murly, that's so funny about your house idea. No lie, when I was growing up and had to walk to school everyday, we used to pass a pale green house with brown trim and my BFF and I always called it the "mint chocolate chip house." It was always my least favorite flavor too, until I worked at a restaurant that had its ice cream handmade by this awesome company. It's some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted. We had a mint-chip mud pie, which I never tried, until one day, there was a "mistake" one. Whoa. That shit was GOOD.   I became a convert. Still didn't beat out my favorite flavor, Heath Bar, but it was awesome! I would recommend people using a variety of desert avis, since it gets REALLY confusing really fast when everyone has the same picture. Maybe we can start a Twitter name thread in Members Only? And people can add their names voluntarily. Ours got to be pretty long at PF I remember. |

Some small unrelated detail of real life reminded me of this today - Adam singing Soaked KL, Malaysia. A great look at the crowd during the pause, people going nuts, a couple of guys glancing up at the screens to see if he is bringing the mic back up to sing, people starting to chant his name. Yes, they did a post or a reply to someone recently. They said the switch in management and the delay on the album has delayed them. It makes sense, to me. Why have old FYE art and graphics for a new era? I am hoping we get new stuff related to the new album! I am being patient. But ya gatta do what ya gotta do! Yeah I hear ya on being patient, but just feel really let down, as I never received my charity water pic, and now this whole thing with the fan club. Just seems really disorganized to me, and Adam deserves better IMHO! It's all good, as I don't give to get, but it's not like I asked for it, they offered it! Thanks for the reply, by the way  I never re-joined the fan club either because I was waiting to see what happened with new mgmt. I'm going to wait til they get their shit together - hopefully it'll be updated sometime this year(?). I totally wish they'd turn the fan club over to the FANS & let US run it! That would be a HOOT! ;D ;D ;D |

Is Planet Fierce completely & totally dead now - never to be resurrected at some point in the future?? Not that there's anything wrong with Adamtopia - I just get kinda nostalgic for good ol' PF. ???

Music is sitll a personal matter for me...and whatever is said by DJ's and other blogs. regarding Adam's new single .. it will still be about me and the music... And these past days I have been reading the BTIKM lyrics like it was poetry...with Adam's giving life to it... and I feel sad.. sadder... It's only a pop song... but it can also be more than just a pop song... And I appreciate the thoughts that VIVLITE shared about her reaction to the song... I grow from feeling how other people connect to a song ....WHICH WAY TO TURN.... |

Not that there's anything wrong with Adamtopia - I just get kinda nostalgic for good ol' PF. ??? At first, I think we all thought PF would come back. As time went on by, it seemed less and less likely. I've never even heard a hint that it would come back. If anyone has info more about PF, I'd like to know, too. |
