I'm not sure about the Pompo-Cockadoo, but I think the Franken-Gump (M) didn't have that little line of hair above the ear...  In this EMA pic, it's just BARE SKIN above the ears!!! >:(  Actually, I think by the time the EMAs happened, the Gump hair wasn't quite as severe as it had been during the previous weeks. I can't say for sure, though, because I NEVER SAVED ONE SINGLE PICTURE of Adam with Gump hair.  fixed |

I do not think Adam looks older in the Wholefood pics I just think he is loosing his babyfat in his face and it looks leaner then 3 years ago in idol. This is why he looks to hot in all the new pics taken. His face is more defined and less child like. I've been noticing that Adam looks more mature for a while now. He's a few years older and he's def. looking more like a man. In these photos, we must keep in mind that sans make-up changes the smooth faced boy into a more ruddy face--esp if you are a freckle face. So I really think it's the au natural look that people are giving a double-take to. I have a lot of pic of Adam in his show face-- I would love to get more like this. IMO one of the hottest yet! |

What he also said is that big stations won't add it until it is high on the airplay list so how does it get high unless they play it ? He also said he thought it was the wrong 1st single for the UK. Lets hope he gets the promo he deserves this time but radio is always the key , maybe if he was signed to Syco and couldn't sing without autotune it would be easier for him. Anyway , fingers crossed but these tweets have got me angsting again. Please convince me it will be ok. |

I refuse to angst about UK play at the moment.... the song has only just started on US radio..it is not being sold here until 12th March and I wouldn't expect radio to start playing it until the end of February at the earliest. ETA: regardless of what that one DJ said if the song is a hit in US I am pretty confident it will be played here... ETA ETA : fingers crossed ! |

You can see the trouble they were having over picking the lead single when BrooksyonAir thinks there is one, maybe two, songs that are hookier, maybe "younger/cooler" to release than BTIKM. The good thing is that there are at least two more singles that people who have listened to the songs are liking. I know for a fact that Adam has at least one big dance club song on the album. I don't know exactly why the label picked BTIKM for the first single release, I would love to have been a fly on the wall for that discussion, or how much say Adam had in that decision as I am ignorant about such things. Maybe what they felt Adam needs to get played on US radio is different than what might be ideally best for UK radio, who knows? Adam has a history and a story here that is different than his history and story elsewhere, and every market is different. Maybe they felt he needed to be "safer" here with his radio release, while it might be best to be edgier somewhere else. All that being said, BTIKM is getting good buzz here. It is listed in RS favorite plays at number 2. It is a song that gets in your head if you listen to it a couple of times. The chorus is catchy. I hear my husband, who has heard it twice, singing the chorus all the time around the house these days. If it can get enough play, it is a song that gets better with more listens. And Adam's voice on it sounds amazing. I can't wait to see him perform it live. Even more importantly, I like the song, lol, and I have given it more than a few listens. It is a good wintery song. Adam always sells a song well, and makes it even better when he performs it. Come spring, we'll get an up-beat edgier dance song that will rock. Adam likes to mix things up, and I always like the mix he serves and keep asking for more, more, more! |

Just keep in mind that this is only one DJ 's opinion from the UK ,but since I posted many of his tweets about Adam, I'm posting this as well. It says something about how it's done it the UK, as for his opinion about the song not having a hook , IMO it's only his opinion.
