Maybe one of the other songs that the DJ's are buzzing on about will make a great summertime release. The UK DJ did comment that Adam is talented and it was up to the record label to make him a star. So, he obviously likes what he has heard. I think it's great news that he thinks BTIKM is the weakest pick out of 2 other possible songs

@brooksyonair Brooksy @flyteness1 @lambretty @jok1213 Taste makers etc rather than major. Not sure many will go with it as it's not "hooky". Cross fingers ;p
I'm glad this guy is being candid but I totally disagree about the "not hooky" part. For me it's VERY hooky. Imma worry about the US before I start worrying about the UK. And I'm not worried yet. Discussion on twitter comparing Kelly's "great" promotion by RCA compared to Adam's "almost non-existent" promo, so some peeps are angsting already. Early days.
I love the no-makeup pictures. He always looks even more handsome to me au naturel.

I don't wanna be a debbie downer but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be how it works. WWFM was a hit here and barely registered a blip on their radar. Besides not every song that smashes in the US does in the UK and vice versa.
IDK wut is going on with all this stuff....sigh...trying to not be pessimistic today but Byron's babble made me kinda frowny face. Oh well what can ya do!

Frankly, I can't see why anyone is down - it looks to me like there is a ton of stuff coming, that RCA and the mgmt co. are very busy, and that we are pretty much at square one at this time. Like Mys*&@^#r has said, wait to see where things are at the end of January. And if the song isn't being released in UK until March, don't angst about things in January.

CHUNKEY I agree with Shev , and also that's why I wrote before I posted the tweets, that this is only an opinion from one DJ whom I really don't know if he has any real influence and I don't think he does. If I remember correctly he's not from London , maybe the UK peeps can help me here? What if all the other people that Adam met while he was in the UK - at least most of them - liked BTIKM? We don't know anything . So I'll stay calm. And I really believe that the most important thing right now it to be a hit in the US. Not a hit like WWFM. A bigger one. Then all the other countries will follow and I'm sure UK will follow too.

I think the "not hooky" description comes after one listen by these guys. Then all of a sudden one finds oneself humming something and thinks, "Hmm what is that?" Then the realization kicks in that it is the BTIKM chorus. "Hmmm, maybe this song does have a hook after all!" Second listen and it is now an earworm!

I think the song has a hook even from Cold as ice. I see people in my close circle of friends and my kids that never bothered to sing anything from Adam and now they're walking around the house singing 'cold as ice....." The whole song is a big hook IMO.

In 8 days we are going to see Adam sing! In a little less than two months we are gonna have an album of new Adam music. I am one very happy cassie.
Yesterday evening as I was working on my computer, I clicked on iTunes and selected my "Adam's best" playlist. Responding to emails and creating lesson plans, Adam's miracle voice came floating out of my fine Bose speakers and hit me right in the face/chest/head/heart. Damn! That is exquisite. Had to stop work, sit back and let the music flow over, around and thru me.
This morming, like a dutiful stan, I put on the Mix 106 station in hopes to hear BTIKM. I lasted for 3 songs and had to close out the window. It wasn't making my ears bleed, but it wasn't enjoyable either. My life's too short to listen to crummy music.
So, the UK either climbs on board for BTIKM and the album or it foolishly denies itself that singular pleasure in favor of mundane crap. After a couple of appearances and the release of the video, BTIKM sails to the top of the charts, or it is a moderate hit. Ultimately, it doesn't matter to me. I AM GETTING NEW ADAM MUSIC TO BASK IN. Adam is getting enuf money to buy dimmers, enuf fame to take his boyfriend to Bora Bora, and enuf respect to work with the best in the biz, including Queen. It's all good.
