We had just mentioned Adam's Fan Club the other night & acouple of us said we had not rejoined since he changed management companies. Well now Adam goes & posts on the fan club site, so it sounds like it's going to become active & maybe I better rejoin. Do any of you post on the forums over there? I've never been part of that community so I'm just wondering what it's like. Opinions & thoughts from anyone please?  |

I also think his use of the word, "appointments" is a generaliztaion. Maybe it was even an easy way to translate. Not everything translates exactly the same.
He did say he got his suit tailored in one day though!! ;D

Okay, call me a cynical, but isn't it odd that just at the moment Adam is at number one - we all get locked out (kicked off) the voting page. Still think Maxwell has his playlist lined up and this is just for clicks. I'm done. I've always thought that SAME THING TOO - voted anyway :-/ I think the station gets advertising $$$$ based on how many people click & then HAVE to watch/see their ads - THEY KNOW ADAM FANS ARE A GOLDMINE!!!!!!! WTF!!  |

Just because......2011 is behind us & 2012 is going to be the year Adam makes his own mark/niche in music..........I had to revisit the last time I remembered Adam singing...... I will miss WLL, my opinion only..... ;D, I don't think we will be hearing Adam sing this song in the near future. I am excited about 2012, but, at the same time a bit nostalgic. :'(Happy & sad tears at the same time. Just me, sorry........just putting 2011 in the history books |

I think we may be missing the most obvious source for Sauli's take on punctuality in LA/U.S.
I speculate it was something like this:
Sauli: Aren't we going to be late? The xxx starts in 10 minutes!
Adam: [Gazing at the sea of black and grey in his walk-in closet thoughtfully] Hmm? Oh, don't worry - here EVERYONE arrives an hour late for everything. Really. Everyone. Let's see - I think I'll wear boots... yeah, definitely boots. And a jacket. [Beams] See, I'm almost ready!

Oh my, that is beautiful and I can appreciate how much work it is to accomplish. I live in a historical district and we are not allowed to use color lights...only white and no flashing lights. It might sound blah but it is really beautiful. The entire neighborhood is lit and the neighborhood sponsors a Christmas tour. There are tour homes (old Victorian homes and churches) and there are carriages for the tour. I love Christmas. You are so lucky to have someone that appreciates the holiday. ETA: "allowed" is too harsh...rather it should be "strongly discouraged". LOL. |

So how does Sauli get to these appointments he has? Does Adam drive him? Does he take a cab? Surely he doesn't take public transportation. He's never mentioned anything about driving in LA. I assume he drove in Finland when he lived there? Wonder if Helsinki traffic is as crazy as LA? Not as many cars, but it's still a big city with rush hour congestion. |
