I think we may be missing the most obvious source for Sauli's take on punctuality in LA/U.S. I speculate it was something like this: Sauli: Aren't we going to be late? The xxx starts in 10 minutes! Adam: [Gazing at the sea of black and grey in his walk-in closet thoughtfully] Hmm? Oh, don't worry - here EVERYONE arrives an hour late for everything. Really. Everyone. Let's see - I think I'll wear boots... yeah, definitely boots. And a jacket. [Beams] See, I'm almost ready! This is exactly my point!!

Glitztripper, Did not know the original reference was to a hair appt. Yes, he was damn lucky the stylist fit him in, for sure! Ginger, he has said he walks to a lot of places! I know! Crazy, huh?! There is a lot that is within 2 miles of them but it's all uphill on the way back! Cayman, I think you are right. No more WLL!

I'd say Sauli's comments are many times sarcastic, he exaggerates sometimes a bit and they are said tongue-in-cheek. You get it better when you hear him speaking and see his facial expressions. It's been his style always.

Just because......2011 is behind us & 2012 is going to be the year Adam makes his own mark/niche in music..........I had to revisit the last time I remembered Adam singing...... I will miss WLL, my opinion only..... ;D, I don't think we will be hearing Adam sing this song in the near future. I am excited about 2012, but, at the same time a bit nostalgic. :'(Happy & sad tears at the same time. Just me, sorry........just putting 2011 in the history books I am extremely nostalgic too. I find it quite sad that we may never see Adam perform some of these songs again. As he tweeted, some he will probably perform again, but I am thinking it will only be the hits. I don't want to let this era go. Even though I am so excited for the next one. Long live WLL!!! And Sleepwalker...and Sure Fire Winners...and Soaked...and..............................

It may just *slightly* color his perceptions on how all Americans view timeliness. ;D

Adam will still perform songs from his first album. I hope so anyway, because he needs to make his show a bit longer this time around. Hoping for no less than 90 minutes + encore. #entitled

gingerpf - What I know he takes a cab (some private meetings w his friends, hairdresser), goes w Adam (movies etc.) and walks when ever he can. At least he said he felt himself as "walking weirdo" when he arrived to LA and liked to walk the shorter distances while other's would like to go by car (this is his again his style of expressint things .

My philosophy......and maybe Adam too You DO NOT want to wear the wrong pair of boots with the wrong pair of pants! "If you're going to do something tonight that you'll be sorry for tomorrow morning, sleep late."

It's been his style always. It's helpful to know that these statements are not necessarily meant to be taken seriously. Translations are hard. I pick up on the exaggerations sometimes but not others. I find myself doing this ??? to some of the stuff he says and often wonder if it is all being taken literally by Finns. I guess maybe it's more the other way around. Thanks for your views--love having a representative of all parts of the planet in each conversation!
