Yep. Because ALL who get massive radio play and awards have such great music and are outstanding writers, lol. I think Adam's music and writing is just as good and sometimes better than some who win awards and get big radio play. But everything is not always fair and he has done fine without it. Fans were just having a conversation because of some of the tweets about double standards and award show performances. . Ofc not but it’s hard to ignore a really good music. That’s why I mentioned Bruno Mars I could add Billie E to the mix. There is a lot more music on the radio besides Bruno and Billie and all of it is NOT good or better than Adam's was my point. And I didn't say Bruno failed to have good music. I said he was arrested for drugs and Chris beat RiRi and it did no harm to their careers. Some may think a gay kiss or performance deserved to be punished more but whatever. And all don't like or are impressed with the same music so there is that. |

Songs and artists win awards for lots of reasons. Not always because the songs are necessarily good or because the artists are necessarily talented. The examples are numerous throughout the decades. Plenty of pretty mediocre or even bad singers have loads of awards (and I even like some of them). And lots of songs win "best" this or that even if they barely have a melody or a single understandable lyric (and I've liked some of those, too). Awards don't always recognize quality. Sometimes it's personality and luck and gimmicks and timing and connections. "Good" songs are in the ears of the listener. But the awards aren't always about the high quality. It's what people hear a lot and connect with. And I've liked my share of some pretty lousy songs. Just sayin'.

Rap ,etc. with It's distain for women often rule... Adam's sensitive ,heartfelt songs never insult anyone.. many are loving and sensitive...You don't have to think his music is to your liking... Neverthe less we are talking about fairness and an older anti gay movement in the music industry.I have worked tirelessly to get him on the radio.. Sorry to say I believe radio music is still fixed,because they play the same songs endlessly... In spite of Adam's lack of radio play or awards by the music industry,his amazing talent has still made him a world wide star and a multimillionaire... to you Dominica I love your controversial views... they get my blood flowing |

Yes, I'm glad she was impressed with Adam's Nessun Dorma. I wonder if she realized that this was a kind of last minute thing without a lot of rehearsal. Either way, she knew a great voice when she heard it. If Adam was doing this in the actual opera (wouldn't THAT be something!) he would have all the nuances down to perfection. I'm glad she said he does some things better than opera singers do. Nice!
