I thought a lot of those people had personal relationships with Taylor or the Foos, even if we don't know them. So it would make sense that some of them would sing a few Queen songs that Taylor loved with Brian and Roger playing. Adam likely could have made time if he wanted but maybe felt it was better to let those with closer personal connections to Taylor play tribute to him? I wonder if Adam has ever met him in person? Sam Ryder definitely didn't. Dave Grohl wasn't thinking of him at all - the suggestion came from Roger. No idea about the other singer. |

However, I just did a quick Google search on Sam Ryder before I posted, and given that the first article I saw was entitled "The New Voice of Queen?" I would assume so.  |

Shosh said right after the announcement of the tribute concert, that Adam can’t do September. Adam is busy with his solo career.
Could it be, that they’re doing some mentoring on Starstruck this time and that they’re filming that, before the main shows start taping on Friday?
And then there’s Adam’s musical, the non-related new music…and Brian is already talking about a new QAL tour. Adam is very busy.
Taylor wasn’t his friend, hardly an acquaintance, so it’s okay that Adam wasn’t there. It was interesting to see and hear other singers with Brian and Roger. It made me miss Adam as well, but at the same time, some people did realize, how hard it is to sing a Queen song and how good Adam really is.

There are some Sam fans saying that. Because Sam can sing Somebody to Love. It’s just like some (over-) enthusiastic Glamberts. And some Brits, who just don’t like Adam. All that doesn’t matter. Brian and Roger -and even Sam- know that Adam would just eat a Sam for breakfast. |

After Adam has kept Queen in the limelight with successful world tours for 10 years, I don't think so. HA. And Adam has earned all the accolades that he has received for being the Queen frontman. But this will encourage the nonsense and speculation from some I'm sure. |

I think Adam's job with Queen is secure. Sam Ryder or no Sam Ryder.

They probably met at The Queen‘s throne jubilee. Sam performed after QAL. Also Sam had been at a QAL Show in London. I think the picture is backstage from the O2. |
