The German windows youtube was interesting. I think those are the standards for Swedish windows as well. And then we got to learn about Swedish showers, and other domestic adjustments. (Our lovely trip to Sweden for QAL involved extended time with my ex-pat sister-in-law who moved to Sweden in 1979.)

nightowl Thanks for sharing the German windows video. Very interesting as I have never seen these windows either. Our house is older and we have the windows she describes. Not only can you push them up from the bottom, but you can pull them down from the top. They're called double hung windows and work with ropes and pulleys. We also have some casement windows. And we have micro-blinds on the big picture windows.

How cool is that? I didn't realize we had members that attended Burning Man. Yup, it was interesting reading about their adventure. The reason the fandom was interested in Burning Man is because Adam had been before American Idol. I also seem to remember that he might have gone with Sauli??? |

Yes, Adam brought Sauli to Burning Man once. There's a pic of them walking and holding hands. It looked kind of windy to me. Not sure if Sauli was a big fan of Burning Man but it had to be pretty strange experience. From what I understand, it's usually pretty hot (temperature, not the guys, LOL). Although some of the guys looks pretty hot, too.
