I see no reason to personally attack Brad. He's a very talented guy - very witty and intelligent in his own right. He obviously has a lot going for him or Adam wouldn't have loved him for so long and still remain friends with him to this day. I thought the person was just stating their opinion about Brad... :-/I think Adam is moving away from being the caretaker in relationships and Sauli looks and acts like a happy, independent man... and once again, my opinion means nothing, they will all do what they want to do, but it's fun (and pointless) to speculate That is A lot of presumptions about Brad and Sauli. To be fair to Brad, he was 19 or 20 when he met Adam and Adam wasn't "Adam Lambert" yet. Adam made the comment about finding guys who need to be taken care of A year Ago. Neither Adam or Brad have ever talked publicly about their relationship. The only thing we know is they were important to each other and remain close friends. Adam thanked Brad for "Making me A brighter soul" in the idol tour book. That doesn't sound like someone who brought nothing to the relationship. Brad has been very loyal to Adam and doesn't deserve what he often gets from Adam's fans. How many struggling artist would remain silent? He would be on A reality show, at the very least, if he had started talking about Adam. I like Sauli, but I don't know we know enough about him to say he is an Independent man at this point and time. I vote we let Adam pick who makes him happy.

Everything about Adam screams fluidity. Everything about him is in constant motion. His body movements are sexually liquid on stage. He shifts seamlessly between the masculine and feminine, from bad boy to sweetheart and glam rock god to boy next door. His voice is like liquid too, sliding undeterred through octaves and from chest to head. Everything about his ease within this fluidity intrigues me. I hope he never tires of change and continues to take us on unexpected journeys. Nothing he has done has scared me. I’m almost certain this holds true for the future as well. I'mma cross-stitch this on a pillow and adding it to my collection. Perfect! I think Adam is a beautiful human being. His comfort and playfulness with the feminine and masculine aspects of himself is what makes him endlessly fascinating to me. It's a total mindfuck, and it's awesome. And I must be a mean person, because in reading through the thread today, I loved all the slightly nervous back-and-forth posts about the masculine/femine issue. It takes guts to talk it through, and to try to find the right language for what we see and feel. Language is SO powerful and important, and it can hurt and heal. Very cool that Adam inspires these discussions. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I have some catching up to do in the licking department...

Happy Birthday Smokeyvera and Picturepath!!!Brad was 19 or 20 when he met Adam? I hadn't heard that; I thought they were close in age and Adam said they fell in love when he was 25. I adore Brad, but you're right, it's hard to go back. They broke up for a reason and it's lovely that they're still friends. From Sauli's interview on page 19, Adam could have answered many of those questions. Thanks Zinnia!! At least for now, they seem to be kindred spirits and Sauli is incredibly adorable. Love that what they have going seems to be clicking. That is not easy to find and I'm sooooo happy for them both. Even if it doesn't amount to anything but what it is at this moment, it seems wonderful.

"I vote we let Adam pick who makes him happy. "
I ditto what you said and that's why I ended all my statements with -my opinion doesn't matter - whatever Adam chooses is up to him, but we don't have a clue what his relationship with Brad was either, for every positive statement there are lots of negative statements, but we all have our own slant. It seems that some of us like Brad, some Sauli, but we are all just guessing, it's all just fun...but one thing that is nice about Atop is that we can agree to disagree or have an open discussion...
