Is it Thursday yet? *sigh*
I wonder how many guests will be performing that night. I didn't hear David Cook's goodbye song tonight, either. Dunno what happened.
ETA: Just saw houselady's post from last page. Thanks!

Cassie - and everyone here. We are who we are. My 82-year-old mom is in bed by now - - so I won't be able to give her this stupendous, glorious news till morning! I only wish I could be with her on March 10th, when together, we could see Adam perform his anthem for millions. I am so in love with the man; maybe I've lost perspective. But, I just have to say, Cassie - I find you to be this remarkable voice in our forum. That you wonder how to behave with your parents just speaks so clearly about how alike we are. All of us are. We may be grown; we may be successful; or not; we carve out a life for ourselves, and yet, when we visit mom and dad we are children again. You will do what you will do. And, you will do it from the wellspring of Adam. Not just his voice, not his style, not his fashion or his confidence will spur you on. You will do what you do because you are becoming more than the girl your parents have known these many years. What transpires when you walk in the door may be an acknowledgment of who you've become. My hope is that you'll invite them to experience the man. They love you; they will want to see what has inspired the passion, the change and the light you carry in your heart. We see it here. Let it illuminate those you love most.

I'm going to have to print this out and show them so they know about all the wonderful people who I have "met" through Adam, and who enrich my life so much. Thank you!

Not very likely that he will have a single out in time. They are targeting a fall album release -- my guess is that will do not see a single sooner than July or August.

And thank you, too. I come here every day. I learn, I sometimes speak. Mostly, I just feel like I'm a part of Atop - understood for who I am and how my life has become something so different from what I imagined it would be - especially as these years go by. I cannot live by the examples of my family! I will be generous in love and abide through experience; but I will not silence or hide or apologize for the way I have grown. If I surprise, so be it! If I embarrass, it won't be the first time! If I am joyful, I invite the dance. I have no time to waste. Goodnight, Cassie. You inspire us all. I wish you had heard my voice years ago.
