I'm not sure I'd get sick of it, but I would love to be able to start saying, "Man, every time I turn on the radio, they're playing that song!" I still haven't heard it on the radio either, even though the station I listen to, KUDD Mix 107.9 in Utah, supposedly plays it. They can't go two hours without playing Kelly Clarkson's Mr. Know It All, and there's a couple of other songs that I always seem to hear no matter when I tune in, but I'm getting frustrated waiting to hear BTIKM. Today I found the website for Mix 107.9 and made an "e-quest." If anyone else is in the SLC area, you can request the song here www.mix1079fm.com/equest.php?var=equestJust talked to my daughter is SLC/Park City. Bringing In the family. I guess I should get something for having her live so far away. She says she will send an email each day for me in my behalf, lol. As Sauli would say--Yay! |

I also wanted to bring over these tips for successfully playing the Q102 takeover kindly compiled by Lady R on FYE. She's chatted back and forth with Maxwell a few times on twitter. "for anyone who cares about the takeover voting, maxwell told me that the first song is always the most requested of the day. you request on the homepage by thumbing up a song (it's also how they sort the first list). so peeps should still vote up starting 2-10 minutes before 8PM to get a jump but it won't necessarily be first. also, the songs count automatically drops back to 0 after a switch so like it he's #1 and it switches and he drops, it cause peeps stopped voting for a sec cause they were complacent lol. " So if Adam is at the top of the takeover, don't slack off, keep on voting him up until he's played. Also vote down the closest threats to him (above him if he's rising, below him if he's at the top). Also if you are logged in with facebook (it won't show on your fb page), your vote counts for more. rabbitrabbit, Would you mind terribly if I posted this info on AO? |

wut? peeps don't like the plaid shirt paris pics? sacre bleu! ???  ???  WOW, never saw this one. Right-click, save. He seems to wear this shirt when he goes to visit his god-child. I think he was also wearing it at a few baby showers. |

It's not the plaid that makes me not like the Paris pictures! lol That was just my way of describing them. Okay, I know it's sweet Sauli was probably there etc, but IMO maybe they should have stayed in bed and gotten a little more rest  I rarely say this, but in that shoot, Adam's not looking his best to me. The shirt and ring have nothing to do with it. Though the rose is a little lulzy.  ....end of a very long tour and probs up all night. |

Reading through the rest of yesterday's thread and today's thread and I keep seeing references to the fact that this album will be or may be as big or bigger then Adele or Katy Perry's albums.....and while I would LOVE that to happen, I hope we as a fandom temper our expectations a bit. I mean their kind of success is pretty exceptional--not many artists nowadays sell that many albums or have that many number 1's from an album--and I think it's waaaay too soon to get our hopes up that much.
This is not to say it can't happen or he isn't talented enough to produce material to get him there....I just think we should wait to hear the material before we make such grandiose statements is all.
YMMV.
Did the audio postion of Byron's thing come out yet? Jeebus.
