Ugh! If Chicago Kiss 105.3 doesn't lean rythmic then I just have really, really bad luck. During tonights hellatious commute (there's about 4-5 inches of snow out there) I was channel flipping. I kept trying to listen to Kiss, but here are the songs I hit each time I flipped there: Flo Rida - Feeling Good (The Etta James parts are great, but I hate the rap stuff) Nicki Minaj - not sure of the title - Super Bass maybe? Enrique Inglesias with some rapper - Tonight Rhianna - We found love (possibly the dumbest song ever) Pitbul/Ne-Yo and some others - no clue what the title is LMFAO - Party Rocking? Just as I got home, Cee Lo Green's Forget you came on. - definitely the best of the batch. Why does CHicago radio suck so badly? Tastes differ? I like "Good Feeling", "Super Bass" (though I'm reaching saturation), "Tonight", love "We Found Love", I'm tired of "Give Me Everything" (Kodak's are so anachronistic), and I still groove to "Forget You" and "Party Rock Anthem" since for me I was over-saturated and then the airplay cut back so I like them again. :D Yes, tastes do differ I am not a big fan of rap/hiphop/rythmic and when I said the other day that the Chicago station leaned rythmic like LA's Kiss someone said that it wasn't and was more like Z100 (which I listen to on satelite radio). I was trying to listen to the CHicago station again and yet everytime I turned there I was getting stuff that I consider to be more rythmic - it isn't that Z100 doesn't play these - they probably play all of them, but it seems like the frequency is lower there with more Katy Perry, Gaga, JessieJ, Kesha, Bruno, One Republic, Scipt, and so on in their mix. OR I jsut have really, really bad luck when I flip the station over to Chicago Kiss! ;D |

I think they could be Adam singing Uh Huh Her songs. I will never understand why songs--just because they are labeled as Adam--that sound NOTHING like Adam singing still fool people. Does anyone seriously think that is Adam singing? Because if so MAN HE ACTUALLY SUCKS. LOL. That or whoever mixed the song needs to be shot. Srsly. I know we all want new shit so bad but come on LMAOOOO. |

In the United States, "oofta" or whatever is usually spelled "uff da" and is a common exclamation in the Great Plains states where Scandinavian immigrants settled. I used to work with a lady from Minnesota who said it all the time. I found a great funny video about the culture and thought I'd pass it along: OK, I'll show my true colors..I grew up in North Dakota and my family always said 'Uff da'..I still say it. It is the consummate 'WWFM' catch all phrase. Try it, you'll LIKE it!  LOL, Juniemoon..

Here's what I was thinking - I know that they're Uh Huh Her's songs - I posted the links. I was thinking it was possible, though, that Adam did at some point sing them (not necesarily for the album, but - I don't know - for fun, for them, or something like that). So, yeah - I'm serious.
