I've also noticed the omission of Adam's name when he has obviously been a major part of some TV show or event (or has become the long-time front man for Queen.) Are these people blind?
Not American Idol but xfactor...
I wondered the same…hadn’t heard Harry Styles was on Idol. I see he was discovered on X Factor. They must’ve been discussing successes from different competition shows. Anyhow, I still wish Adam would be included in more.
I can understand playing Queen with Freddie only, but talking about current touring and not mentioning Their front man is super weird and must be intentional imo.
I could be wrong but I thought Harry Styles came from One Direction, which was a boy group artificially created by putting together contestants from a season of Xfactor?
Yes, I felt it was possibly intentional to leave mention of Adam out. The radio station plays older rock and roll for the most part and has been on the air for many years. I think the djs are as old as the radio station and Adam may not be to their liking for whatever reason. Maybe they’re diehard Freddie fans. I actually feel a sadness (often irritation as well) when Adam isn’t given credit for his talent and accomplishments. He such a fabulous artist and kind hearted guy.
I don't know why Adam was left off that show but they normally mention him when they talk about successful Idols. The print articles do. And on New Years Rockin Eve, Ryan name checked Adam, Carrie, Jhud and Kelly as Idol superstars. And all their advertisements highlighted Adam, Carrie, Kelly, Gabby Barrett and Jhud (but sometimes Jhud was cut out for some reason). On Kelly Clarkson's early show, they showed clips of Carrie, Jhud and Adam as stars from Idol. Maybe they just wanted to get Harry in as everyone does, lol. I have seen articles that listed successful contestants from reality shows and Harry is there with Carrie, Adam, Kelly and Jennifer. Adam is most often the only male Idol listed. Adam has the highest net worth of all the male Idols and only follows Carrie and Kelly overall with Jhud behind him. With her new talk show starting, they will likely trade places but for now he is ahead of her.

Cottrell-Boyce emphasised that for the Paddington sketch, he ‘certainly did not ring up the Palace’, as he believes the idea for the Queen’s involvement actually came from the Palace itself.
At the end of the sketch, the Queen tapped on her teacup as the band Queen began their performance with Adam Lambert, marking the beginning of the Jubilee concert outside Buckingham Palace.
