This is completely OT and mods...feel free to delete if you wish....but...Does anybody here have any idea how many twitterers use twitter versus other platforms such as tweetdeck? I am reviewing a manuscript for a journal and the writer keeps on making statements and assumptions based on particularities of Twitter....the technology or delivery...and I know there are some of you with some pretty amazing knowledge in this area....

Speaking of alternations, can anyone recommend a simple, cheap (ideally free) program that can just slow down the tempo of a recorded song?Nothing as fancy as what got done here on the "Adam" song . Just something that can slow down the tracks on the CD that came with my daughter's piano book to a rate that an actual child could play. Hey guys, asked this in the old thread, but its deader than a doornail. Would appreciate hearing any suggestions peeps can come up with. Also, can someone explain MIDI to me? I grew up with piano, not keyboards and I'm unfamiliar with the terminology (and this acronymn is everywhere.  ) Thanks!!  (Me and my future gleeful tricking the unwary into believing wacky demos are actually unpublished Adam songs thank you!) ;D , I dunno if you have an answer to this yet, but from the FREE softwares out there Audacity is one of the best & very easy to use. Ooo!! Awesome! Am looking through these now too!! this sound talk made me think of kanadie. anybody know what happened to him? I checked to see when he last posted and he's no longer on the member's list. did I miss something? Kanadie left ATOP a few months back. He misinterpreted a post as being unnecessarily mean to another member. Folks tried to correct his assumptions, but he was already gone :-/ |

All one has to do to realize that Adam can "dummy down" his voice is to listen to Take One. >:( Interesting convo about Sauli and Adam and I realize it is just speculation. We are just "projecting" our experiences and what we think onto them. However, the one presumption that kind of hits me the wrong way is to assume that the Helsinki fight was Adam's fault and that Sauli had to do damage control with his family! I basically scroll down the pages this morning at work and now at home I can really read this and has to log in to AGREE with your post mys*&@^#rs. We didn't know what happened in Finland Gate and it is safe to say that fans WILL NEVER KNOW what exactly happened (unless Nikko and his gilfriend decided to talk to someone).. so IMO, IT'S BETTER NOT TO ASSUME WHO'S AT FAULT and WHO'S NOT. ETA: I guess we don't have news today, so we go back to speculate about this gate? : : :-/ :-/ |
