Oh oops! Really? I must be misremembering my 4th-grade definition. I thought the rule was a prime number can only divided by itself or 1 - would that not work? ??? :  note to self read the thread before posting  For those interested in the "why", I found this primes.utm.edu/notes/faq/one.htmlAnswer 1 basically says "Because of the definition" Answer 2 is more interesting and, I think, it still quite understandable. "Euclid needed to know when an integer n factored into a product of smaller integers(a nontrivially factorization), hence he was interested in those numbers which did not factor. " and "The number one is useless in this regard because a = 1*a = 1*1*a = ... That is, divisibility by one fails to provide us any information about a." Answer 3 and 4: I don't think, someone who has not studied at least 1 or 2 terms math can understand them. But they point out that you really don't have to feel sorry for 1. It is very, very special ;D |

I was going to post one more thing about Brussels sprouts & then I saw all those yummy pics. Switching from AFL to little green vegetable balls is just wrong. BUT - I need to clarify something about the butter (no pun intended  ), I always use olive oil but I said "butter" because that seems to be what most people like. And therein lies one of the reasons for the weight problem in the US. And other countries.
Enough of that - do we have any idea what time he will be on Ryan's show? IIRC, he has usually been on during the 8:00 hour in the past. My guess is 8:30ish PST. |

So, I lurk over at MJ's sometimes. Today a couple people are suggesting that BTIKM is receiving a "meh" response from radio so far. Do people think there is anything to be worried about yet? Being from Chicago, I have no real perspective on how the single is doing or the response it's getting. Adam isn't Gaga or Bruno or Katy so should we really be expecting a lot of attention before the adds date???Adam has done what he can, seems like it is now the label's job to get the song on playlists.
And it always makes me a little bit nervous when Adam takes to twitter to encourage fans to request :(

He isn't as famous as those well-known stars or even Kelly. There is no reason for him to go shooting up the charts like those others. Remember that his best known song barely made Top 10 on HAC. I won't worry for a couple of weeks at the earliest. He still has barriers to break down. |
