So, I lurk over at MJ's sometimes. Today a couple people are suggesting that BTIKM is receiving a "meh" response from radio so far. Do people think there is anything to be worried about yet? Being from Chicago, I have no real perspective on how the single is doing or the response it's getting. Adam isn't Gaga or Bruno or Katy so should we really be expecting a lot of attention before the adds date???Adam has done what he can, seems like it is now the label's job to get the song on playlists. And it always makes me a little bit nervous when Adam takes to twitter to encourage fans to request :( The song hasn't even gone for adds yet. Wait until 1/23 and 1/24. |

What you may be thinking up is the Billboard Adult Pop Chart where it hit #2 -- that is Adult-Oriented Top 40 Stations only. These are the stations where Adam does really well. Some stations on this panel are Mainstream Top 40 and others are HAC and a few are AC on Mediabase. These stations play Lifehouse, Kelly C, Daughtry, Maroon 5, etc. and they give Adam most of his spins. |

Aralid, you could have written that in German and I would have understood it about the same.  ??? Yaay, so glad Stardust is coming!!! It is going to be a huge audience of Glamberts!!!    I adore people who are an expert in something and are able to explain it to someone who knows "nothing" about it, for example cassie. I totally suck at it. Really. My younger sister always regretted asking me to explain her something. After my "explanations" she was always even more confused. ??? :  Well, at least I tried, right? : And I'm not even an expert. I'm too lazy and only spent as much time with my studies as needed to pass my exams and I forget many things after the exam is over. So it is just half knowledge and I know that I'm an irresponsible student.  This is OT and profile pictures of Adam are more interesting anyway. For all I care we can end the prime number topic. But I'm the only one still talking about it anyway, right? :-/ |

Have you switched allegiances to that group you were talking about a while ago? Still rootin' for the Tide though, right? Things start to get exciting this week so here's to us all hanging on for a bumpy ride. Yeehaw!!! Now I must attend to business in the real world. I've been lurking and wanting to comment but nothing important enough to merit a keystroke. Hope everyone has a great weekend and I really can't wait for Leno. Just that they are horrible. And I think they are not actually meant to be eaten and are a mean trick Mother Nature played on us that some people have (sadly) fallen for... ;D That is because people boil them. Try them grilled and smoked!! Or sliced in half and roasted with a soy-miso glaze. Or best of all -- glazed!!! Like many foods, it's all in the hands of the cook. Or sauteed in butter with bacon then covered with sesame seeds. Yum. |

If you look back over the MJs archives, you will find similar posts about every song every released to radio before the add date -- even Kelly's releases. Come Feb 1, if the song isn't doing what RCA thinks it should do, they will take care of it. RCA has a ton on money invested in Trespassing, they will promote the album and that means getting airplay for the singles. And if RCA had any doubt about the song, they would not have moved the CHR/Pop add date up a week. |
