From the latest issue of Rolling Stone: Madonna
Arena dates are booked. It's a slam dunk. Expected announcement soon: Madonna has already opened up about Superbowl half-time show: a late March album on Interscope and the lead single "Give me all your Love" with guest spots by M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj.
I read elsewhere her album is all Euro dance stuff.
Guess we know where Monte will be working.

Madonna is a legend don't get me wrong, but it kinda smacks of desperation to remain relevant when you not only have one but TWO rappers on your song (a song which sounds, if the leaked version is anything to go by, something that's a better fit for a Disney teen star and kind of ridiculous for a 50 yr old musical legend to be singing). And she DOESN'T need to do that. She already is a legend. It just looks kinda....sad? IDK. Kinda wish she would have a single that was more, I dunno, less juvenile knock off Gwen Stefani and something more suitable to the Queen of Pop. I saw that she was gonna debut this single at the halftime show....erm. GOOD LUCK. LOL. Let's see how well this goes over with the football fans hahah. I hope the other songs on her album are better because this song is just crap imo. She can do much much better.

Chunkey - what you said - that seemed to be the general opinion when our local station 'premiered' the single - no doubt she will do well though, how are her album sales given the general downturn in sales ? When did she tour last ?

I'm not sure what kind of convergence is at play here but I just watched the first episode of Project Runway - All Stars. They showed a preview of next week's show - guess who the guest judge is? Pharrell Williams. 8-)

When did she tour last ? No idea how her album sales are. I can't even remember her last album? Hard Candy maybe? But that was a while back and things have been worse since then I suspect--sales wise. Yeah I don;t think she won't sell, I think she will sell regardless if all the songs are crap simply because she is Madonna. It will be interesting to see what the rest of the album is like and what the critics say. But yeah any tour she does will be a sell out. Hell I'd go if only to hear the old songs...but then again tickets would prolly be super expensive lol

Madonna's last studio album was #1 "everywhere and has sold over 4 million copies worldwide.
740,000 units in the US.
Her last tour was also #1 in the world.
ETA: Her last 4 studio albums have been #1 in the US and many other countries.
ETA2: I hope her album is not release on March 20.

Used when a 7-foot guy essentially walks directly up to the basket and forcefully places the ball inside. He can't possibly miss.
