I can understand Adam liking Shania's music. She was one of the few country artists to cross over to pop and really go international in a big way. She was one country artist that I even liked years ago. And county gatekeepers back then, complained that she dressed too provocative by showing her midriff and being sexy, lol. But she did it her way and it paid off worldwide and not just in country. She was a bit of a rebel and not much of a "good girl" like the country Carrie Underwood's who followed. She has a large LGBT following too. In her documentary, they snowed some LGBT men dressed up in high heels and dancing to "Feel Like a Woman." I have no doubt she's popular, but Adam's comment seems a bit suspect since she just happened to join the group. It's just the kind of diplomatic comment he usually makes. It's not like he's going to say "I hate country music" lol. |

Very excited about Adam and the Noel Coward doc. I am a big Noel Coward fan -- wonderful melodies and clever lyrics. I know a lot of his songs. Maybe Adam could be inspired to produce an album from the Noel Coward songbook. Just dreaming! LOL

Lol...i wouldnt Count liking a few shania Twain Hits as "liking country"...Just because i think one or two of Helene Fischers Songs are good or fun doesnt make me a "Schlager"-fan...seriously...
I Always have to laugh when Adam says He doenst Like country because First: i feel Like He has the Same issue with country that i have with "Schlager"
Second: i Always Wonder If He doenst Like the rather conservative Lyrics or actually the music
Lastly: WHAT???!!! Adam doesnt Like Crystal Gale??!! 😳😳😳😳😳

I remember some years back (someone else here might remember, too) he was asked in an interview about what music he was listening to. He rattled off a couple songs and artists, as he was expected to do. Sometime later, in an unrelated interview, he was questioned about a singer he had mentioned in the past. His answer (not his exact words) was that "it was just something to say." In other words, he keeps a few names in his head just to answer the question. It's a wise professional interview strategy. He paid Shania a nice professional courtesy. Made them both look good. |

Pharaoh has sure had his share of "dogsitters" over the years. He seems to get along with them all. Adam is lucky that Pharaoh is so adaptable with new people. Of course, I think Pharaoh really loves being with his best buddy Hazel when he's at Eber's house.
