bobo- Your story sounds so familiar. I had been watching Sauli in Tutka's. I did not watch BB in 2007, but when I "found" Sauli from Tutka (in 2009) I got to know him also from BB-vids and fell in love with his sunny and joyful personality. Then in fall 2010 when he had met Adam and Katri teased him a bit about that, I started to find info about Adam. I happened to mention the name to my friend and she said that she and her teen-aged daughter had fallen in love with Adam in AI8. She praised Adam's voice and performances. And I started searching info from Youtube, vids and interviews. And fell in love to his sunny and joyful personality. And then I saw the Disneyland pictures and heard the rumors them dating and there I was, a straight middle-aged woman, hooked with two gay guys who seemed to be much alike (personalities). My life has also changed a lot because of these two guys and will never be the same again. I'm happy I found these two lovely guys and this place too. I can sometimes discuss about Adam with the friend I mentioned but other friends wouldn't understand this madness, so it's great to be here, sometimes only lurking, sometimes commenting. I love BTIKM and look forward to Tresspassing. I'm in the rabbithole, too!

This Disneyland article was very fateful for me. It changed my whole life. It made me curious to find out who this Adam Lambert dating Sauli actually is. I went to youtube. There were no alerts! I got completely hooked and here I am. My life will never be the same again. Both men have a lovable quality and with Adam you get the bonus of that amazing voice. There's a word for what happened to you: Serendipity. It means unexpectedly finding something wonderful!

Are you being sarcastic, or are you honestly questioning this? Just speaking for myself...maybe I'm a bit slow on the uptake, but I'm not seeing the connection. What does Madonna, or Madonna's promo, have to do with Adam? What would people purchasing Madonna's album have to do with people purchasing Adam's, or vice versa? Unless they're next to each other in the New Releases section or something. Is there some reason the Madonna release is more relevant to Adam's situation than a release from any other pop artist? No sarcasm intended; I just don't get it. I don't get it either. Adam fans aren't necessarily Madonna fans, or vice versa. And come March, who would say, "Oh I've already bought one album this month, so I can't buy Adam's." Nobody does that! Up and coming artist vs. influential past charttopper who hasn't had a hit in awhile. Sublime voice vs. adequate voice. Sounds gorgeous a cappella vs. needs a lot of studio help. Yeah, LOTS of similarities there! *sarcasm*

KITTYKAY, we don't know. He just happened to be driving it that one night. Conjecture: he was renting it or it was given to him to drive while his car was in the shop He was test-driving He was trying to go out in an incognito car (fail) Adam needs to go out again so we can see if he still has the BMW. My guess is he was renting/borrowing; it just really doesn't seem like a car he'd own. I mean c'mon-- it's not BLACK!!!!! LOL! Adam doesn't seem like the type to be out dusting off his car before every trip, either. Grey or silver hides the dust better. (I lived on a dirt road for many years. First car I bought was mud colored.)

Oh, I forgot--I don't like lentils in any color or size (aren't they legumes?) I have mentioned recently (not that anyone else remembers) that I've been trying to condition myself to popular radio because I want to hear Adam this time around. I found an adult mix station that plays all the hits and have been doing okay listening to it in the car. A couple of days ago, I finally tuned in to a top 40 station. Definitely a difference. Last night I was listening to it during a longish drive to play a concert. I usually study the music as I listen. What gives it it's appeal? How creative does it sound? What is the complexity level--musically? I do need something to keep my mind engaged in music other than a cool beat or hook. All of the sudden I got antsy and switched back to the adult station. Then I got bored and finally put in the GL CD. Aaaaahhh! I was almost shocked at how much more interesting everything is, from Adam to Longineu (amazing) to even some of the backing tracks. Listened to GN on the return trip too. Time went way faster and I even lost track of where I was in my trip. (Might be as bad as a mobile phone while driving?) No speeding ticket though--I tend to slow down because I'm distracted. I'm probably alone on that. ;D

But more than anything he became the VOICE to me. Lifting me on the air, freeing me from physical form while listening him, and then after that, gently putting me back but somehow with less load of life on my shoulders. CLICK! Soon after that I found all you! And so I was lost, deep, deep in the rabbithole, and if I am lucky, I will never see the daylight again. That's beautiful! Thank you for sharing!

...... Also, Lana Del Ray sang on SNL tonight and is getting roundly dissed on twitter. Her recordings are much better--I thought it was okay--but what I REALLY thought was why the hell hasn't Adam performed on SNL yet? He's got to be as well-known as she is. (@devenlane says it's because her daddy's in the biz.) ETA: Checked her Wiki, and her dad's a millionaire, but not in music biz--in "domain" biz. Well...I think Eber should write a barstool manifesto to get Adam on SNL! ;D I happened to catch Lana Del Rey on SNL -- she looked nice but was terrible. She has been unable to crack the North American market and this one bad appearance (and it was bad) will not help. And she was terrible. The musical guest is still approved by Executive producer(s), Lorne Michaels. Some of the guest hosts have been instrumental in getting musicians on the show. Fan petitions and campaigns do not work and may have a negative effect.

I had enough trouble scrolling thru pages of brussel sprouts yesterday. But, as for trying to condition oneself to pop music on the radio, I feel you! I have tried to do so a couple of times. I last for a few titles and then some horrible mix of autotune and featured rap artist comes on and I have to turn it off for my health. Put on my "Adam's best" playlist and regain my equilibrium. As the sound envelops me I chastise myself saying, "Life it too short to listen to crappy music!" The radio stations will have to get along without this consumer. (But, then, I never pay the slightest attention to radio ads, and probably have never bought a product or service because of an ad on the radio).

I watched SNL and was thinking the same thing. The timbre of her voice is appealing to me, but not much else. She looked physically awkward and sounded dull. ADAM!! ITA Holst. My fav comment on twitter this morning (because it accurately sums up my impression): "She still sounds like someone took the batteries out of Florence And The Machine." Happy Sunday everyone! LEENA, I loved your "how-I-got-lost-in-this-rabbithole story...Thanks for sharing!

(@devenlane says it's because her daddy's in the biz.) I like this gal's voice and tone but she looks like someone who is very depressed, almost monotone voice and flat affect, strange body language. I couldn't watch the whole thing. Did anyone else think this song is very depressing? The song and the way she sang it? If this song does well, I don't know why. I don't understand how she got on SNL and Adam didn't!!! :-/
