Just got home. Can someone post the twitter list links again? I don't remember where in the thread they were. Been spot checking all day but would rather not have to go through all 24 pages to find them.

butterfly, did you say you were going to Miami? If you have the time, you should try to take a trip to the Florida Keys. A bunch of islands connected by bridges, so you can drive through them. Beautiful tropical warm ocean to swim in. If you have the time to make it all the way to Key West, it's definitely worth it. I lived in South Florida for 25 years and the Keys are one of my most favorite places in the world. PM me if you have any questions. thefloridakeys.com/Stupid, OT story -- I got a flat tire in FL and had pulled over to the side of the road waiting and sitting on an embankment. A police officer pulls over and tells me I should wait in the car.........there could be gators that crawl up over the embankment. WUT?! I was dumb-founded -- just something that was not even close to being in my near conscience. My friend and I bolted upright and jumped in the car......had a BLAST in the Keys! QueeenAlIS FROM AUSTRIA!!! Where are you?? Adam is gonna be at your country for his birthday!!!!!!! Is there a chance to see him perform ?? OOOOOOOHHHH! I just read this - came home from a looooong day at the office. DAMN!!! This country is NOT big enough for Adam!!!! F*** Have to investigate ... but then ... those skiing venues are known for buying the biggest names for the smallest and coldest venues .... at least there all the layers will make sense ... as I said ... this blows me! I do not know more than anyone who goes to google, since I am quite far away from such events/locations. I have googled Adam/our radio stations extensevely and have not seen a beep. This must be one of the gigs that were booked very much in advance IMO ... not to belittle them, they do tend to throw money at artists like you would not believe, but still ... hoping, hesitating, wanting, will not be able to see him ..... one very big downside: as much as I know of such gigs, they do not have much public exposure .... Since I am very late to the info, I hope someone else has better AND MORE PERTINENT news!!!! OK, I have calmed down a bit now, have not done much investigating, since our ninjas are much better at this, than I ever could be. However, this is not as strange as I thought. These events really do try to "collect" the most trendy and "right now" artists, and pay them insane amounts for small appearances. So one of my misgivings is, that the gig will be quite short (AND Adam WILL BE bundled up in even more layers than we already abhor), and usually they are not given much exposure in our media. BUT the guests there are top-notch, very international, very much into partying, it almost has the feel of a private gig ... Sorry, I dont know more, our media (as far as someone as outside of pop-culture as me can see) has ignored Adam since WWFM. So no big news, but anyway, as I said before. Austria is much too small for Adam, his aim must be MUCH WIDER beyond this. And I trust him and his management, that they know what they are doing. YAY for Austria!!!! *sighwouldlovetoseehim* |
