@afterelton: Some shots of @adamlambert on "The Tonight Show" - Vocally, a stunning performance. ow.ly/8xjL935 seconds ago They have a funny caption under the photo.... According to Twitter, Adam Lambert on The Tonight Show was the most important event of January 18, 2012.
He did sing it flawlessly though.

Toby Knapp (remember him, Top 40 DJ from DC, new found glambert??) live blogged the Leno performance on his blog here: www.hot995.com/pages/toby.html?article=9626541The important parts: "12:32... and the set up... adam on stage at 12:33... this performance is asthetically pleasing, very adult sounding of Lambert... the demeanor is very mass appeal... it's almost impressive the reinventon of Lambert which is happening right now. He's going for a broader audience with his entire look and approach... the song is very intimate and hes' matching this tone...
12:35... it's always interesting to me to see how heavily produced stuff from Dr. Luke sounds when you actually put instruments and a band to it. they've nailed this as a live performance... now here come the Lambert vocal acrobatics... this dude has like some Mariah Carey someplace in there...
12:36... Leno is clearly impressed. THat was pretty vocally perfect...
12:37... Fallon on.
Overall thoughts, this is a more subdued look for Lambert, no doubt part of a campaign to take him to a broader - more adult and grown and sexy and sophysticated audience. It showed his vocal depth and strength of performance. Welcome to an example of Lambert 2.0 and where things are going for him. It will be big to see how many views his performance gets via YouTube and VEVO when NBC posts the audio of his performance later tonight or tomorrow.
Killer setup for a single and album. And, Leno's consistantly #1, which is a great look, too. "

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you SERIOUS????????????????? Adam is............."The King". Thank you livestream Era #2 is going to be Grammy #1 for AFL, the voice..........can hardly wait for Cassie's thoughts :D Esp with those guests, Adam did seem like a prince among lesser (much lesser, boring and poorly spoken) mortals. And I still get a kick out of 'grammy nominated' - just never gets old. So Adam sang beautifully and Hoppers has opened a speakeasy -Atop Boardwalk. All's right with the world and to all a good night

Wow that was soooooo good! And Mika: priest? for shame! I get a classy-sexy-offbeat-chic Lyle Lovett vibe from the look, which somehow, added to the synthy sound, gave the performance a kind of new Wave cool for me. Yup, I know nothing about what that means, but I'm sticking to it. Loved it. Plus, #glowingearsforthewin ;D anyone else? No? Just me? Eta: well, come to think of it, lyle and priest not too far apart
