And Mika: priest? for shame! I get a classy-sexy-offbeat-chic Lyle Lovett vibe from the look, which somehow, added to the synthy sound, gave the performance a kind of new Wave cool for me. Yup, I know nothing about what that means, but I'm sticking to it. Loved it. Plus, #glowingearsforthewin ;D anyone else? No? Just me? Eta: well, come to think of it, lyle and priest not too far apart  Oh no! MWP, i really have to run before store closes but, first of all, a priest can be classy and sexy (i've seen movies!!) so c'mon! And Lyle Lovett sexy, chic? Oh, honey, no. But that is so... open-minded of you... and Julia Roberts to be fair. lol  p.s. I love glowing Adam elf ears too. |

Ok totally amazing. As Adam would say, the vocals were SICK!!! Only strange thing for me was the new bass player, kneeling for the first have of the performance....I was like did she forget her bass strap or something! |

Thank you livestream  Era #2 is going to be Grammy #1 for AFL, the voice..........can hardly wait for Cassie's thoughts :D  Esp with those guests, Adam did seem like a prince among lesser (much lesser, boring and poorly spoken) mortals. And I still get a kick out of 'grammy nominated' - just never gets old. So Adam sang beautifully and Hoppers has opened a speakeasy -Atop Boardwalk. All's right with the world and to all a good night Hugs & Dog Hair on YOUR CLOTHES ;D Retire in AZ my friend....................we will have a blast following AFL around the world and I will make sure you have the six pack lent/dog hair cleaner from Costco available..........NO CHARGE OMG.......AFL is BRILLANT! I'm still processing the vocals. Have to hear it a few dozen couple more times. But, while I do that, no one has mentioned the tattoo??? on his right thumb. You can see it when he holds his palm to his chest. Does it match what we saw on Sauli's hand??? And, was the shaking hand nerves, or acting to match the emotions of having one's mind on the edge? I would go with acting to match the emotions ... listened to the stream with earphone and what a difference! MAGNIFICENT! You know he will have different versions of BTIKM by ERA #3 |

Adam Lambert appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno to give the debut performance of his new single, “Better Than I Know Myself,” and there’s no other word to describe the performance other than absolute and total “slayage.”
From the finely tuned band, which includes new musical director Kevin Hastings, who used to work with Rihanna, to Adam displaying every peak and valley of his stunning voice, a debut performance couldn’t get any better. If we weren’t already in love, we’d be falling head-over-heels right about now. :D |
